Title says it all i find that the quadrant encounter are to small to be really worth it. They take huge numbers of pinpointer to find even with Astrometric Triangulation at a decent level and when you find them there 20% generally of your leads power if your lucky.

Again this is just my experience so I could just be having bad luck. Do you guys think there are to low in power or am I just getting screwed by statical probability?

Nah you are right.
I find that "alien terminators" and "alien dominators" tend to give you a much higher fp (near towards your lead fp). However, alien transport and harvesters are very low.

I think this is only good for new players or at the beginning of the round when you can't really do much incursion cause your fp is too high.

----

errr...sorry you mean actual interactive missions don't you? lol

then I agree 100%. They are too low.

All the interactives I find with pinpointers I never do, way too small to be worth risking any turns for the rewards they'd give.

The other problem is that at my fp (and probably mj), we can't find many encounters or interactive encounters. So hidden interactives seem to be our best bet to do encounters. However, they are much lower than the hidden interactives. eg. A normal pirate party interactive is 162 tril fp but a hidden one is only 42 tril fp.

I aggre there to low to be worthwhile they power seems close to what some of the smaller aliens are. However the plus side with aleins is there are tons of them and they take less turns then interactives. However hidden interactive take 10 turns just to get to the first step 5 to go there and another 5 to start the missions. After that you need to spend 20 to 50 turns on average to complete it. So the turn cost vs reward is too low for it to be worthwhile to do em.

In fact it makes sense that hidden interactive should be higher fp because they are suppose to be rare:

- There are now 100 hidden Interactive Encounters at any time that can be found with Pinpointer Probe
Note: Hidden Interactive encounters are harder to find. It's not unusual for the chance to start at 5%. Researching astrometrics can help.
Also, some hidden encounters are harder to find then others, depending on their rarity.
