Well i have just noticed something strange.  3
On one of my ships I have 6 shields making a total of 68% shield (34% 35% 35% 36% 37% 38%) and i have Shield Master (Increase all fleet shields absorb power) skill up to 6% so this will make a total of 74% shield but my ship have only 72% !  21
When my skill was on 4% I had the total shield up to 72% and I upgrade it by 2 points expecting that this will change something but it is all the same. All of my ships have the same shield level as they had when my skill was on 4%   banned

Calculated it for you, your absorb power is correct atm. at 4% bonus you had 70% Shields.

You sure because a friend of mine made all the 6 shields and got 68% form them .... i made it too in a new account and it really got me 68% too .... what was the % you got form the 6 shields ?
As I say my abs did NOT changed when I leveled the the skill 2 times and I'm sure I had 72% because I write every ship I made in a text file so that I see it easily

And yes I just made a 70% shield and put it in a ship .... its total ABS is 74% while it have to be 76%

Shield Master  Increase all fleet shields absorb power      6    %      (220 CP)
(pasted directly from my commander skill list)

the cp shield bonus does NOT add 6% to your abs. it will increase your abs BY 6%. so if you have 68% abs it will increase it (68 * .06)+68) to 72%. this is how cp bonuses work. 15

this is a common misconception. all percents get times against each other when they get added together for a bonus. as explained above:
if you have 68% abs it will increase it (68 * .06)+68) to 72%

A little confusing, but useful to know.

Or you can just do 68 * 1.06, makes you have to type less  15

 so if it's like that how will I be able to increase my workers growth if it's at 0%? I'd be using up cp for no reason. because 1% of 0 is 0.
