I really like this idea that was suggested by ars68. I saw how most players were in support of it, so I wanted to get an exact # to show emi.  1

Here is the link to ars68's post that explains it: http://forum.spaceo.net/index.php?topic=689.0

right now this game, as I understand it, is trying to take some of the best aspects of different games... but somehow took a wrong turn and has instead THE WORST basics to it.

in SpaceO, you:
-sit there for (literally) hours on end hitting the same exact buttons, to grow...
  * but you run the chance of losing it all and thus forcing you to spend those same hours redoing everything
-you try to get to #1 spot...
*but you hit 1 snag and someone else gets there, keeping you from getting to an already difficult #1 spot
-a long round means plenty of time to try new stuff...
*but also means waiting a good couple months waiting for DDay to reset the same person still in #1

with all this in consideration... is it no wonder why some people have left, especially those who have been here for a little while?  I mean, come on, who really wants to sit at this one game for hours on end doing things to get to a spot that someone has already reached, and is almost impossible to get to, and have to wait MONTHS just for next CHANCE to get to #1 (which probably won't)

this multiplier might not solve all the game's problems... but it sure is a good step in the right direction.

That is a really good point ars, Would get people a way better chance to get fast credits without spending hours and hours, and with quicker credits means a lot more competition for #1 and a lot more people getting the chance to be number instead of 5 or 6 people at a time. It could be the top 50-100 players. Cause you could jump from having a 10billion ship. Doing the mission multiplier and getting the 50billion ships almost instantly. And everyone could be doing that. While saving the missions for everyone getting the same chance.

And I like the fact there's the risk of losing that mission. Just like a regular gamble. And if more people joined the game, means more people to pay for gold accounts. Cause they know they would have a chance to be at least the top 10. Cause 1 mission mulitplier could be what you need, and that means more friendly competition. And people would donate more cause they would be like hell yeah, I pay 5 bucks here and I could become 15th for example instead of being 30th.

More and more people would donate 5 bucks. 5$x20people=100$ and that would pay for the mission multiplier to be put into affect on it's own. And you get 100pplX5$=500%body%nbsp;  And you could make great improvements to the game I don't see how this could not work.

well, it's 11-1 now, so that nullfies their vote.

And yea, as I've said before, some ideas posted up here are really popular (my classic old style SO one was popular too) and they don't even get looked at, but some really bad, highly unpopular ones suddenly show up in the game or on the in progress annoucements. I've also noticed SO slowly sliding down in all the rankings of games....coincidence to our dropping player amount?
