There are others that have been in their alliance much longer such as myself. If this is going to be given out it should be to someone with a better track recording of staying in one alliance.

Badge of Honor (Criteria: Must attack only in a counter or for an honorable reason, such as revenge for a comrade or justice for behavior against others.)

NightShadow(#4884) was banned for the remainder of this SO Main round for blatant and clear violation of the TOS.

He kept his NightShadow(#4884) account intentionally at low power so he can hit newbie players at low power and destroy the power ships, while in the same time using Alicaryn Mitarashi(#45215) account to destroy the same new players if they got up in power.

Our TOS clearly states you can not do this, especially to new players.

The TOS does not state new players have increased levels of protection nor should it. The TOS should equally apply equally to all players regardless of them being new to the game, or old. There should be no double standards, or inconsistencies in how the TOS is enforced.

It can be seen as worse to do it to new players, but again that should not effect how it is enforced.

As I currently understand it, via my knowledge, experience, and past communication with Emi, the rules about alts basically can be summed up as this:

-You ARE allowed to have multiple accounts
-You ARE allowed to share passwords
-You ARE allowed to use any counters available, even if they are on the same person within a 24 hour period.

However...

-You are NOT allowed to initiate an attack from more than 1 account on the same player within a 24 hour period.
-You are NOT allowed to initiate an attack on a player from any other account, if you currently have a counter available on that player. (what nighty did)
This also goes for ANY type of attack (i.e. scanning a players planet using an alt, then attacking with your main [within a 24 hour period] is a violation of the ToS)

Your right we do need clarification on this.

The strictest interpretation of it that you can't attack the same person with multiple accounts within 24 hours means if someone attacks two of your accounts you can only counter with one of them.

An alternative is this. You are not allowed to attack someone with more than one account, unless all of the attacks are counter attacks.

This would mean players can't exploit the rule to stop from being attacked and prevent what NightShadow did.

Well.. It's come to my attention, NightShadow was banned. For the following reasons; "Your account NightShadow(#4884) has been found multiple times in violation of our TOS stating that you can not soften / attack multiple targets using your multiple accounts."

I wasn't aware that if you use an alt to attack someone and then use your main to counter it was against TOS. If so then many more people need to get banned. I find this complete and utter bullshit.
The rule is you can't attack a player with two accounts within 24 hours of each other. Does not specify that counter attacks don't count.

A singular ban without warning since the rule is rarely enforced is quite odd. There are several players who violate this rule regularly.

Ken, I've maxed before. Maxed ships are different if that's true. The most damage you can get with 250 runs is like 300q. Drop it to 7 runs you get 7q, and it caps at 8 I think.
Max ships do have things like that happen to them which is why two different things are happening.

No, the more runs, it still lowers the damage.
Incorrect try making a ship with 250 runs of the same weapon. The damage is exactly what you would calculate without accounting for a damage reduction.

Per weapon you add to your ship your total damage is reduced by 1%. Were both the possible damage as the possible reduction are maxed. So that is why adding more weapons does nothing, because you reached both max. Try having only 1 tot 10 of these weapons on your ship, without having any additional weapons on your ships and you should get higher damage.
To be clear each run of a weapon does not count as a weapon. If you have 250 runs of the same weapon you get full damage for each run of it.

You don't need a gold account to get royalties and some players either don't know how to design good ships, or they don't want to spend quite a few hours making a ship line.

Darth Bobo could you please edit the post to specify which server the designs are on, since not all servers have the same design set.

What do you mean by a power defender? What kind of stats would it have and how do powerships have no use? They generally get you into a nebula after the first attack on you.

To get back on topic if any of you that seem willing to write a new guide for SpaceO do so. You can possible get it implemented by Sir Emi at the very least you can post it to the forums.

As to the wiki if the bot activity is anything like it was there is no point in posting anything there. It will be defaced quickly by a bot.

so what do the %s mean on the missions? i always thought it was the % of your fp or cost. never knew. but if a 1% gives you 100% of cost then the %s mean nothing. and if i have no bonuses and no items.. like at the beginning of the round... what do i do? only incursions and pvp? i would have to stay home and play all day and night just to use all my turns if i cant do missions. oh and.. while my bonuses are a little lower than emys, my ships have more hp and less attack already.. i still lose tails and use items. and there is no happy place with this. i already have to try 2 or 3 times most of the time to win the mission. then losing ships too... and i only do 1% so i really dont see what im doing wrong. but i for one am not happy that its been left this way. sorry emi. just dont like it at all.
The % seems to be there to give you an idea of how hard mothership missions are in comparison to each other.
