I will say this once more, I apologize that you were out of town when I preformed the Moderator Clean Up, I had no idea that you were out of town I believed that you were just ignoring the 'check in' topic.  After the time limit was up, I removed you from moderator and implemented the updated structure/new moderators onto the team.

Again, I am sorry that you are upset over the situation, however stooping down and acting like an idiotic troll is not the way to handle it, you have knowingly and deliberately broken forum rules and have provoked moderator action and therefore you are being punished for that.

For the last time, I do apologize that your feelings are hurt, however it is over and done with and it is time to move on.

The fact that you were previously a moderator on these forums means that you do understand the rules.  Accidentally breaking a rule that you did not know about or understand is one thing but deliberately trolling and trying to provoke a moderator to take action is something else entirely.

Once you are unbanned, if you can come back and follow all of the rules you will most certainly be welcome, however any further acts on your part that are against forum policy will result in further punishment, the minimum of said punishment being a 1 month ban.  I am utterly ashamed that you have to be act so childish over the fact that you lost moderator, immature enough to where you resort to trolling now.

I believe that this round should be reset (either force DDay, or let it play out), with no HoG and no reward.  For the next round, everyone that donated anything in this round should receive the same donation bonuses that they paid for in this round, in the next round.  I believe that will be the fairest thing to do for everyone.

Emy, you don't deserve to be in the HoG for using a system that was never meant to be enabled on the Elite Server, I am sorry that you spent your time working towards that end, but really it doesn't deserve recognition, your pretty much begging for HoG and I don't believe it should happen.. its like saying "Hey, look at me!  I exploited the system for this spot. " which goes against what the HoG is for.  Frankly I don't care who all was exploiting, YOU are the one making the biggest deal out of it, if it were up to me, I would ban everyone that exploited for a round, but its not so be happy.

In short:
1) Force DDay/Reset
2) Give everyone the bonuses they donated for in the current round, in the new round after the reset/DDay, Either give the bonuses immediately at the start of the next round, or give the bonuses in the form of affiliate credit and let the users choose when to exchange it for bonuses.

Therefore, Topic Locked, You may start a discussion in the Whatever board if you want, anyone who participates in the discussion will keep the disrespect out of it and will handle it in a calm, collected manner.  This is the internet, nothing that happens on it should get you worked up to the point where you are genuinely angry, if that happens, log off and take a break, because if anyone keeps going when they are angry and ends up doing something stupid, I will step in and personally deal with the situation.

Anyways, there were 3 open spots, 4 people applied.  Do the math, all but one of them were going to get a chance.  Its nothing against Chronos, I chose the 3 that still actually play SpaceO as well.  Everyone deserves a chance and while I will admit that when I first saw that Avatar I laughed for around 3 minutes before I could actually post this, I think that its fair play, you obviously aren't offended, however if you ask him to remove it I will make sure that he complies, if not, well, its all in good fun and it was good for a laugh.

Yay for late replies!  Forget a topic, I will make a category and boards dedicated to this roleplay if its going to be serious, it could be quite fun ^^,  Lets move to the Moderator board for the initial planning and then we can make an announcement with the rules/story/character sheet once we get it going.

After the recent incident regarding a member of this community, Rule 4 has been updated to include a clause about Double Posting.

Double posting is more than just posting the same thing twice, it also encompasses replying to your own topic before someone else replies to it first.  Its more a form of spam than anything else.  If you find yourself in such a situation, you should edit your initial post and addon to it.  I have read the logs from what happened and I agree with Truth of Mind.  You double posted (a form a spam), you broke the rules, she handled it according to protocol.  Instead of letting it drop, you escalated the matter by threatening to hunt her down in game even though she was only doing her job.  It is fully within her rights and privileges as a Moderator to do just that.

While, yes, she could have merged the two posts instead of deleting them, actions are taken at Moderator Discretion based on the seriousness of the issue.  That is the point, so long as they do not overstep the Moderator Agreement, they are fully within their rights to handle each issue as an individual matter.

First of all, the only two people that can delete moderator logs.. or any type of Forum Log are Emi and myself.  Second of all, we cannot delete individual entires within those logs, and I guarantee that the logs have never been cleared, the earliest log I can view is from 'March 29, 2006, 06:21:53 AM'  that happens to be the day these forums were first opened.

As for your legal threat, I find it highly amusing, this is a game.. governed by its own rules, on the internet, a legal battle wouldn't even hold up in Civil court over a matter of ToS violations for a free game.  I seriously laughed when I read that.. screenshots of the internet hold no legal value at all, its so easy to doctor screenshots in the first place.

Next, Congratulations for having a Masters Degree in Computer Science, again, this is a game.. meant for entertainment, please stop whining and just play.  We don't really care if you are the President of the United States, Emi has investigated this topic and has ruled it not to be a Violation of the ToS therefore this topic is closed.  If you have issues with this ruling, or with any of the moderators that I have hired for these forums, feel free to send me a PM and I will investigate your claims to the best of my abilities.
