Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: A Last Button

a last page button would find the last design made in case you miss what the number of the design was. It can't be that difficult as there is a last page option of various other things.

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / A Last Button

It would be so nice to have a "last button" when you are upgrading a weapon or special on a ship instead of having to click next until you finally reach the screen where the newest designed weapon or special is. I know many have their ships already and use the same ones over, but there are some that like to tinker and make new ones and upgrading them is a pain......click, click, click, click.....

Has it ever been suggested that the bottom of the page has a chat room for public chat as well as the private chat we have now? Forgive if it has.....did a search and it didn't come up

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: Aliens and rewards
|

I have to agree that the reward values do suck on the hidden aliens. If the rewards can not be increased then the cost of turns should be reduced to the same as encrptions, and heck, even the ecryptions give better rewards than the hidden aliens and the hidden aliens are more dangerous. Some rewards that could be items we could use on our ships would be great as well.
I also like the idea of group hunts on aliens and made so anyone could be added to the group, not just guild members.
Another idea would be to have alien trading posts where we could do trading, different alien races with diferent trade goods. It would be nice to see travel reduced to zero turns, this way we are not stuck sitting in one place doing nothing except Market when we've run out of turns. It would become even more interactive and we could then travel system to system, trading along the way with alien Trading posts or we could go scouting looking for minerals to mine and mine them as well(mining still requiring turns). Travel could only be so much distance each jump depending on the size of mothership, but no limit of jumps.

General Talk / General Discussion / Re: Formula??

Or you can search the forum for those very answers
well having read through many posts for hours (you can tell by my bloodshot eyes) I still can't find a working formula for figuring out the fp of a ship design. I found this and can't come up with a figure that even comes close to a particular ships fp.... each space of a ship counts 2 FP the rest is determined by the weapons and armor and special more notably it is supposed to be based upon hp, attack and defense... officially, IIRC, attack defense and hp are all divided by 100, then whatever is left is added tot he ship's power... but somehow attack tends to be almost double that of anything else... a ship I have, I know it's fp is 8863, it's space size is 174 and only has an atk of 494458, it has no defence and no hp........for the life of me I can not, with the above information come to anything close to the fp of that ship now as for the shield stack formula, I believe I have the correct one......at least I think I do. Thezerg posted this as a four shield formula and was told it was incorrect and I never really studied it. Upon looking it over I believe it is correct as a 3 shield formula......correct me please if I'm wrong here it is with 4
20 + 20/(1+1^2) + 20/(2+2^2) + 20/(3+3^2)
20 + 20/(2) + 20/(6) + 20/(12)
20 + 10 + 3 1/3 + 1 2/3
= 35% If I'm right to make this a four shield formula you would need to add + 20/(4+4^2) ...again please correct me if I'm wrong. What I'm not clear on was the order of the shields if they were not all the same percentages...I'm assuming that it would start with the highest percentage and work down to the lowest.....please correct me if I'm wrong here too please

Yes, but try to figure it out yourself :-)
hmmmm..forum here to help people.....forum tell people to figure it out themselves....guess that makes this forum pretty much useless then with that kind of help.

is there a formula for calculating the fleet power of each ship without having to buy ship and look at stats? Also is there a place to find the correct formulas for shield stack, multiple weaon, etc? tia!

I've been hit with bad luck twice today it seems. Once was doing a lvl 3 encrpt with less fp (was doing lvl 4's with no problem)than me and got pulverized and then again doing a mothership mission of 174%( was doing 250% with no problem). I thought I read somewhere that these fleets weren't out there anymore.....guess I was wrong there.

Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Re: powercore problem

It opens to the page with the powercore that is around the size of your ship. Also, it doesnt show powercores that are too big to fit
thanks zerg.....don't know how I made that mistake as you're right, my powercore I made is too large. I guess too many figures on too small of a piece of paper.....ah, back to the drawing board. thanks once again!

Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / powercore problem
|

I'm having problems buying a new ship of my design. when I go to buy a new ship (my latest design), the powercore that I designed does not show up as an option to buy and when the page opens, it opens backwards, starting at the last page of which there is only 2 designs there and the rest are on page 1. I assume that because it opens backward is why I can't see the powercore to purchase for this ship as page one is full and no more can be added to it. I suppose I could delete my prior designs but do not wish to do that.

its not online and offline, its fleet power and ability to attack...red is out of range, yellow is getting close to being out of range and green is in range
I don't see how it could have anything to do with range as you are in the same system and everything in the system is in range. I was thinking it has something to do with bounty but now believe that it is warp chance as thezerg says. thanks zerg, that solves that mystery.
