Title: Forum Cleanup Post by: Borg! on March 06, 2013, 03:26:28 PM Today with the help of Comatose 2. We have deleted all accounts with 0 posts. This is in conjunction with the added account registration (SpaceO Q&A). These two should help with the prevention of bots, and make the forum more clean.
ALSO congratulate Comatose to the position of Moderator II. He does a lot of work around the forum that some may think goes unnoticed. He may have a problem with keeping his pride away from a few conversations. But he is a welcome addition to his new position. I may be creating it so that all new users will have to make a post in the introduction forum in order to post elsewhere on the forum. (as another means of deterring bots) But since I haven't seen a new bot created since the Q&A format. We shouldn't need it. Do you think a time period in which if no posts made, the account is liable for deletion? I just knew there are a lot of accounts that had been created years ago with 0 posts. Seeing as the last "legit new account" was admiral fury. I think this deletion was well needed.
