Forum - Space Odyssey MMORPG - a massive free online space game

Hey folks,

As I'm sure a lot of you know, the secret to a great game and a great community is an active and responsive forum. Now, this forum doesn't really represent that, does it? I didn't think so.

Don't worry, as always, I'm here :p Over the next while there will be a bunch of events going down if I can pull it off. Well, I should be able to pull it all off. Not really that hard. Will need SnipeDragon for one or two, and community involvement is key. The idea of this is to make reasons for you all to be active.

Upcoming events include:

• Community day
  
• Moderator events (Don't sweat it FTP, if you don't wanna help, I'll organize it
• Other events are to be announced
• Community decided events as well
  

In regards to community events, merely post here your ideas. I'll look into them, as I'm sure the other mods will (I'm sure they want an active forum, too), and if they pass through to be used, they'll be posted here.

Now, this was a two-part post to prevent me from having to make overlapping topics.

The second part, is, that if you are active in this forum (log in at least once a week) I would like for you to post on here that you are active, and how active you are. We want our community to grow, and to regain it's popularity, and knowing where it's at right now is a helpful part of that.

I click "forum" in top right corner every time I log into the game... I didnt use to but now it has become part of my "gaming experience"...

I played the game from about mid-2006 to some time in 2007. I've been a member of the forum since 2006, and I will be until the zombie uprising of August 2017, when I descend into my underground bunker.

I don't really recall when I started playing but I still remember the first dday I saw. May 31, 2008.
I always go to the forum every time I log in.

Ya I go to the forum when I log in too...  It opens a new tab, so why not!

I log in to the forum whenever I can bother to do so. If you need help with events, if I have time I'll help you.
