Larry Niven and Heinlein well if you dont know who those are you have not read Sci Fi before. John Ringo: Military Fiction novels some modern day some future David Webber: Another mil,military Sci Fi author David Gemmell: Great Heroic Fantasy Author PS: I am addicted to books I can read 80 pages a hour i have 30 odd books from the library please post need more authors to read. Frank Peretti is a Christian author but a couple of his books don't really mention anything religious so you don't have to worry about that (those couple being Monster and House). Ender's Game is a brilliant example.
