So, I was thinking...what could I add to the boards, and then I thought of this.

How would you react if I were to add Alliance Boards for medium-large, high ranking alliances.  The Alliance Leader, and 1 person of their choosing (You wouldn't have to pick someone if you didn't want).  Each alliance would be given a child board under a bigger board, as to prevent spam.  Abuse of moderator on your board would result in the removal of your alliance board.  With this, would come the addition of an 'Alliance Leader' group, which would give leaders access to special leader-only boards, where as to discuss things without other people knowing.  So, tell me what you think.

The boards only for alliance members?
If so how would mods that run alliance be allowed to mod them
Maybe the only mod should be the alliance leader

and what is considered a top alliance
cause there are tons that sprout out (close to dday) with huge power

What are you talking about? The leader of the alliance would mod THEIR own board, and they could each pick 1 other person to mod their board as well.  As for the large alliances, alliances that have been around for over a year, that have remained active.

i guess i might as well bring this out now... i started an in-game alliance (wars server) called "The assembly of alliances." i invited every alliance leader of a top 10 alliance, and made them keep their power as low as possible so the alliance would be basically secret. for a month of two we were able to discuss war/peace and it worked well, but its gone dead :P this idea is a great one

As you can see, the boards are now added.  I will be creating a list of guidelines that alliances must meet before they can request a board.  I will keep you updated as I progress.
