Title: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: thezerg on October 09, 2007, 12:53:51 AM
So here's how it'll work. For the rest of the month, post players you think deserve this to nominate them. The last week, this will become a poll of the top ten candidates and we'll vote. I'll try to set this up every month

Members of Armageddon Inc. need no other reward than to see the smoking wreckage of your once beautiful fleets. :-)

But I put forth Rivaris who seems to have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

I also put forth Autarkis .. Who has managed to top the Bounty List since the game started I think.

And again cant people read?

Personally I hate these kinds of votes as people always vote for those who they like best :(

Can everyone who gives a vote explains why you think he or she is a hellraiser, you can have multiple votes, at the end there will be a quick review about the reasons and the number of votes. To amke this more fair, past time I added some names to the list aswell because I thought they belonged there. As for now I would atleast want to see Rivaris at the top of the list :)

i would nominate tzarkoth, as i have seen some of the resutls of his attacks and been victim to some of his base killing spree's, Lady Kate for being a small player but causing loads of hell for people (and for kami'ing one of my ships on a counter) then after that its all up to whoever i dont see many people's attacks on news

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: TheMerchant on October 21, 2007, 05:54:20 PM
i would have to nominate LadyKate too, she is annoying as hell and persistant in her/his attacks

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: ninjastrike40 on October 21, 2007, 11:29:40 PM
Tch that LadyKate has an agressvive style as i just found out attacking everybody in range although i managed to buy some swarmers and get away quickly

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: FTP on October 22, 2007, 12:52:40 PM
Ladykate is a noob, or an alt.

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: Cameron07 on October 22, 2007, 02:20:39 PM
aye... i doubt a noob.. she knew how to kami my lead through a few fleets of pships, but an alt, maybe... a hell raising one though

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: TheMerchant on October 22, 2007, 09:55:07 PM
alt or not it still takes time outta the day to hit people constantly.

i nominate FTP,while constant attacks that get annoying are great, i believe the that precision and accuracy out beats constant damage less attacks.

FTP really know how to do damage, and jumps at the chance to do it. i hope i dont post too much info here but here are a couple messages.

FTP(#6)

NP m8 nice hit well gtg sleep its 2:22 AM here ^^

another message show he really know how to set things up for damage but i cant post that one.

Overmind(#290) made a successful counter attack and *****(#***) lost 79.248.466.968 fleet power. ;) i doesnt matter who did or recieved the attack, FTP basically did all the hard stuff and i did the fun part.

Meh ... like I care. :-)

Took Overmind, FTP and 8 other accounts to take a 600 Billion lead and a bunch of swarmers I didn't care about off me ... I took a 2 Trillion Lead off Overmind and Nightguard ....

You do the Math. :-)

I still see my Alliance dominating.

1.5trill lead. and it doesnt take much to resuply that. and you lost your top 3  fleets and 2 tail ships with a bunch of swarmers...

also very good attack. i didnt expect to lose my lead so easily i guess ill stick to my stations too.

doesn't look like you guys are still nominating, but i nominate zelox
he does not even belong to an alliance yet has reaked havoc on many players, aof in particular. he has been atked and countered hard, yet still grows and atks.

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: Imihir on November 22, 2007, 12:49:30 PM
zelox aint that good, when eh didnt wanted to get hti he had a neb and he reserves his good ships always.

Your attack was successful and you gained 7579 segments, while destroying 14074 segments.
razor006(#690) lost more power than you during battle.

Imihir(#77) made a successful attack and razor006(#690) lost 43.093.800.000 fleet power.

Ranking A T User Mothership Ships B N C Status Power
13 razor006 (#690) 108265 601801 45.147.670.198

269 Imihir (#77) 21536 3197293 ONLINE 145.140.184

Look at that power difference :P

First Sergeant razor006 (#690)

First Officer: Prelimiray reports indicate a mothership size of 108.265 segments...
A fleet of 601.801 ship(s) has been spotted escorting the mothership.

lol
ive atked him at least 3 times before, he uses all pships and 1 decent super, look at this atk

Primary Objective: Destroy 10% of the enemy while losing less percent of the armada then the enemy.
Your attack was successful and you gained 15325 segments, while destroying 28462 segments.
Lostedchylde2(#562) lost more power than you during battle.
jessiedog(#3475) made a successful attack and Lostedchylde2(#562) lost 24.426.574.400 fleet power.

same thing, i think they even use the same design lol

Post by: TheMerchant on November 22, 2007, 04:01:54 PM
i have yet to see zelox make a huge attack...

and i think he could be better, if he joined my alliance. ;)

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: the broken on November 22, 2007, 04:11:36 PM
he wont join any alliance, many have tried to recruit him

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: jessiedog on November 22, 2007, 08:37:33 PM
Overmind, (since u are overmind in the server i play), i saw him make 5 big atks within 20 mins of each other.

3 atks on basil, 1 on magicat, and one on i think it was pernicious.

he is definately a hell-raiser

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: FTP on November 23, 2007, 01:39:07 AM
After one big attack a player goes into neb, so if he hit someone 3x in a row it obviously werent big hits. And hearing no reported real damage from his attacks I dont count him as a hellraiser, everyone can kill a few swarmers or powerships.

Armagedon Inc atleast tries to kill your mains aswell.

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: basill on November 23, 2007, 01:39:33 AM
those attacks didn't do anything but at least he was goin for it

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: jessiedog on November 23, 2007, 11:59:14 AM
all i saw was the news report of it
basil, it obviously didn't do too much damage to u because u are still in the top watever, but being alone and atking 3 different players from the same alliance in one day deserves some sort of recognition

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007

but in the game , zelox have a fleet who cannot be destroy, he have a very huge hitpoint like(3 000 000 000 000hp ) and with a good absorb

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: jessiedog on November 24, 2007, 09:14:14 AM
if he had a ship with 3 quad hp, he wouldn't need to reserve it  :19:

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: TheMerchant on November 24, 2007, 03:04:46 PM
hmm Zelox's fleet cant be destroyed, is that a challenge?

khalilos(#995) made a successful attack and Silence444(#1911) lost 6.263.632.141 fleet power.

i've seen several attacks similar to this. while it seems like no supers were killed, he's been constant with his attacks by doing it at least 3 times a week and on players in the top 30.

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: jessiedog on November 24, 2007, 04:53:48 PM
but then he is countered and sent back to below #60
or he reserves his fleets and tries that old annoying trick.
khalilos also uses alts to atk first if im not mistaked

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: TheMerchant on November 25, 2007, 03:52:54 AM
hmm, if so i withdraw my nomination.... also may i recommend instead of a monthly Hell-Raising Player, we have a current Hell-Raising Player were we just say he is it, then when another passes him up and we agree to it he is the new Hell-Raising Player. you get what i mean?

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: jessiedog on November 25, 2007, 09:13:07 AM
havent seen thezerg on in a while. but i agree. we should have a current, and then a successor.

Post by: FTP on November 25, 2007, 06:55:48 PM
There is not 1 hellraiser. Will try to reread everything and make a nice list again. But my own opinion will ofcourse count abit aswell. I added cameron and zelox past time aswell as they deserved it.

Jessie, khalilos gave his "alts" to friends to play on them, so now he teams up with friends to kill people nothing wrong with that right?

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: jessiedog on November 25, 2007, 07:33:26 PM
no, theres nothing wrong with friends playing also. but what i heard was different. if his friends are playing, congratulations to him for recruiting more players. but all ive heard is double atks on ppl like tb with khalilos and his 'alts'

Khalilos is a buddy nebbing, multi-alt-attacking cheating scumbag.

He might say he doesn't do it now, but he has in the past, prolly has access to those accounts and I'd be willing to bet my 100 Trillion Credit Stash he'll do it again.

This is not the thread for anti-ToS behavior though.

I woudn't call Khalilos a Hell Raiser either.

I'd have to say outside of Armageddon Inc I don't see any Hell-Raisers. :-) Zelox and Nightguard have improved their game over the last few months. FTP has gone into hiding and the Buddy-Nebbers are out in force.

Within AI, I'd say Amagnon has been the most active in Raising Hell recently, while the whole server appears to still be afraid of Rivaris and I.

Title: Re: Top Hell-Raising Players for Oct 2007
Post by: TheMerchant on November 26, 2007, 12:58:09 AM
hey!!! what about me??? well i guess i only counter ppl around my power... but yeah!! lately ive seen a couple A.I. members in nebs... i've ran into some of your boys 2 days in a row and both times they were nebd... and if you guys could mail me some of Zelox's attacks (ive been attacked by him once and it didnt work out as well as he planned...) id nominate him too.

haha skumbag  :D, hes a really good SO player... taught me everything i kno :sweat

1. ***Khalilos is a buddy nebbing, multi-alt-attacking cheating scumbag.

He might say he doesn't do it now, but he has in the past, prolly has access to those accounts and I'd be willing to bet my 100 Trillion Credit Stash he'll do it again.***

2.***I'd have to say outside of Armageddon Inc I don't see any Hell-Raisers. :-) ***

3. *** FTP has gone into hiding and the Buddy-Nebbers are out in force. ***

4. ***Within AI, I'd say Amagnon has been the most active in Raising Hell recently, while the whole server appears to still be afraid of Rivaris and I.***

Ok lets react pointwise :)

1. IP checks show khalilos is not using alts to help himself on attacks atm, the accounts that are helping him might be once his but he gave them to other people. Wheter they play just to help him or not does not change the point he doesnt use multiple attacks (played by himself) for hits.

2. Depending if what you call Hell Raising.... if that includes you have to be AI, to be a Hell Raiser, I have to agree, if being in AI is not a requirement for being a Hell Raiser. I doubt that only people in AI are hell raisers.

3. Hiding and Buddy nebbing..... hmmm I think I got 1 neb in 2 months not from AI (so if your my buds), just because others do attack but not even do enough damage. And for the times AI attacked me, would be limitted to counter attacks and well maybe 2 normal attacks. And for the past month I have been putting intelligence reports on my head every 3 days (couldnt be bothered to see if it was already gone or not every day). So to shorten this list, I try to be on intel as much as possible, hoping to get hit so I can counter someone, but except hits that dont give me a counter nobody attacks me anyways. Or am I hiding on the intel list  :12:

4. Fear? no. Knowing your ****ing good at what your doing yes :) Although I would like to directly to refer that to you tzargoth and not all AI.

PS. If you ment with hiding my fleets look like all swarmers, dont think I could say different from AI members. But mate I havent had real ships out since summer (european summer) because I dont have time to do missions might give it a shot when SO main server finishes and stop playing there again.

im not getting full of myself for destroying pships. it takes no skill at all. i was simply showing imihir that it doesn't take a lot of power/skill to do so. and most people dont protect there super with 8 fleets of pships  :12:

this is going off topic a bit now, for multi account attacking start a new thread in report abuse, but i think that the hell raiser awards should go to AI and AoF as both alliances are centred around attacking anyone and everyone, and they do as i have been on the receiving ends of both alliances more than once

but in the game , zelox have a fleet who cannot be destroy, he have a very huge hitpoint like(3 000 000 000 000hp ) and with a good absorb

Er .. I gunned it down .. poof .. however I have to say he logged in like 1 min after my attack and chased me around like a crazy man .. he countered me 3 times - throwing waves of swarmers at me .. tenacious as hell - he didnt get through my defences - but Id think twice about attacking him again - he definitely was out for blood - I lost a lot of swarmers - he lost more, but kept attacking.

I also attacked him once before, and didnt get his lead (warp chance was too high to risk a scout attack - and I slightly underestimated his leads HP .. by 5% as it turned out) - and he countered immediately - cant post details for tactical reasons - but it was a good counter and a successful attack - I lost 263 million swarmers.

So - Zelox is a good vote.

Still - I think Tzarkoth, Rivaris, Nephedral and I have inflicted trillions of losses of other players - not to mention Neph and Tz gunning down every single base during the start of the game - they must have destroyed several hundred bases.

So my votes would be Tzarkoth, Nephedral and Rivaris - but I like Zelox's tenacity and he can play an aggressive style - though he has a habit of hiding as someone else pointed out.

I think the next few weeks will be fairly quiet in the top rankings as the game adjusts to the new missions multiplyer - initially I was concerned it would kill off PvP - but Ive done a few rough calcs which tell me in about 3 to 4 weeks hell's gate will be open again :D

It will be a new scale though - with 10 million or so segs the norm for the top of the ladder..

However, Im sure theres a few rogue players out there who will have to stretch their trigger fingers over the next few weeks though ...

Also I think theres some things that can be adjusted to encourage more combat after the implementation of the missions multiplyer - I'll post them in the suggestions forum.
