Title: Attack level vs mission fleet power Post by: altaree on April 12, 2007, 11:21:53 AM Does anyone know what the attack power of a ship should be vs the listed fleet power in planet missions/encryption missions/ reaver fights?
Assumptions: Accuracy 20% from the comp and 40% from the guns. 3hp to 1attack ration 53% shields I have a some 102,487,150 attack ships taking on the ~15M missions successfully so far. Is this over-kill or am I about to get into trouble. Please move this to the missions forum if that is the better place. --Altaree Title: Re: Attack level vs mission fleet power Post by: thezerg on April 12, 2007, 12:07:44 PM The fleet power doesn't really matter. It's how you design the ship. If it has a high atk, your fp will be a lot higher than a balanced ship. And If the calc thing is on (which I don't completely get, i think this is how it works) then you run into stroner fleets and might lose your ship. I think the ship you have now is a bit overkill, but it's what you fell comfortable with when checking the dmg to your ships
