Hello, everyone, this board was created to make our work transparent, and enable all commanders to see what projects and ideas we are considering to be added. They are ordered by their importance factor.

Any replies / suggestions should be posted in the suggestions area, and we will take them from there and set them up here

List of projects follows by priority:

Interface Updates
PvP Salvage
Project Rebirth - Planets

Bounty system ( bounty based on reputation, commander rating and manual bounty placement )
Commanders Gang ( a couple of online commanders join forces to battle a stronger enemy / bounty / contract / encounter. Reward is devided by the fleet cost ratio each commander contributed. Gang chat screen / feet selection / leader commands the battle )
Council Members ( 20 commanders will be appointed in the Council, acourding to their reputation. They will make motions, vote on them, and change certain aspects of the game )

Sounds great, but I've got a question with the bounty system. Does the rep bonuses or penalties only apply when you do a bounty mission or are attacked through a bounty mission, or does it apply everywhere else in th game as well?

hehe, everywhere, all good actions are repayed in good rep. while bad ones will get you ng rep and bounty on your head, that will attract bounty hunters. This is going to be fun lol... I'm testing it now  :19:

Ok, then having a good rep can screw you over as well (unless I'm misunderstanding your description) since your attack gets lowered. Sure having higher defence is great, but I'd rather leave my ships how they were, rather then up the defence and lower the attack. Correct me if I'm wrong here Sir Emi.

hmmm...  maybe you could instead have it where "good" guys have bonus to defense, and "bad" guys bonus to attack, and have both have bonus to HP (please please please  :13: )  with no penalty.  then that will mean you will actually be penalized somewhat for not taking sides, as you will have neither bonus to attack or HP. (wondering if maybe this would be better to make new thread in suggestions)

yes , having bonus to either attack or HP is better than having bonus attack and HP penaly or viceversa.

yea, I like the idea of just a bonus, rather then a bonus and penalty, because that could seriously mess the ships you make up, and having a 0 rep is Ni impossible.

i think the bonty system is out of order:

fat monkey13 has rank 157, and he has a boutny on his head 0o

palad has rank 100, he has bounty

rivaris, rank 50, bounty


all good and high ranks, and still bounty on their heads... something is definately wrong here

I know, we know, Sir Emi might know, but we've heard nothing about it, so who knows what is going on. Just wait for all the bugs to be fixed before saying it's good or bad, lol.

I know, I was refering to everyone else who will because they think it's already perfect and 100% complete he isn't adding/changing anything (you'd be amazed at how many there are) there, attempting to cut them off. Has anyone heard for Sir Emi this past week and a half? I'ts almost like he died.......

i got a question about the bounty system: why is there almost always comng up that he doesn't have enough fleet for the hunting operation? You should add something so you know if it has enoug hfleet or not xithout havign to click on it... its hard to find a bounty :(

He did, called a filter, so go use it. It's a wrok in prgress, the whole game is actually.

ok now to what i know the concial can not be contubited to rep... cause that would mean that some newbs that dont know how to play.. and hasnt done any missions would be the ones in control.. due to the part that the top 500 worst reps are the top 500 best people... just dosent add up

Council will be implemented soon....and the members for that are decided, though there will be some changes to the people as their is inactivity with some people.

and I never understood the bounty thing, I either had too much rep to be able to attack people or the ones I could attack were way overpowered compared to me?

The lowest rep you speak of is the negative rep that is close to 0. There are people that do missions that have extremely high positive rep.

In the past you got +7 rep for every mission succeeded and up to -10.000 if you failed a mission. You lost FP/1000 rep or sumthing when you lost a ship so the top 500 all had a negative rep :P

Haveing penalties to attack and haveing player made bounties is going to hurt people who have positive rep, you get good rep lose attack then some guy puts bounty on you and you get wacked hard and the defense bonus is pretty much useless since almost no one uses defence so if you are going to lower attack at least give hp bonus to good rep.
