Get the strategie back to the game, you cant play this decent anymore. Normaly I did 50 to 70% missions but I went lower to 20-30% to do some segments missions, I get 15x Enemy Armada Destroyed on a row. Then my entire fleet get annihilated. I buy most my ships back and do 20% missions hoping to get the others back aswell and within 10 missions I get destroyed again. While other days ofcourse I soemtimes lsoe a ship but I always grow. Now I just egt blown on a mission way and way weaker then me normal. And I hear this from like everyone. Get tactics back to the game I can gamble anywere.

This belongs more in Suggestions then in missions/encounters.

But you are correct, a lot of the game, mission wise, is gambling, as you have to hope that you don't hit a killer fleet, which now appears roughly every 10 missions.

it is kinda gambling, but it also slows down ppl so i kind of learned to deal with the loss for now at least

ive been lucky this last day ro so not hitting any, but b4 that i managed to run into 3 of them within a few missions after i upgraded >_<

i wish i was that lucky, i just lost a 100m ship to a 1% and earlier i lost a 100m and 200m ship to a 2%, i'd call that unfair. I'm now screwed over for who knows how long.

lol i aint even doing missions anymore. actually, all i do is the market, its the only place where things goes around normal =P

I do missions, and I make a profit.
A quick look in the bounties will confirm that i rarely lose a ship, and yet i pull missions that show on the news.
Its just pure darwinism.

i have some decent missionships and i do a lot higher percent of missions and it was successful most of the time. so far, i think there wouldnt be a problem about the missions?

no, it doesn't matter what percent.  I tried a simple galaxy mission that i coudl either tie or beat every time (it was about the equivalent of a 3%)  I had one fleet and never lost a single ship.  Suddenly a huge fleet of ships, swarmers and powerships come out of nowhere (and this is a maximum enemy fleet power 3mill) and the total power was well over 100 mill, could have been 1 bill, and i'm level 0

hmm  :confused: this whole situation confuses me since i do not understand how does missions and galaxy missions function...

well I understood quite well last round but this round I seems to suck  till now :-)

well, the whole killer fleets thing seems to have cleared up.  I've done over 100 missions (both mothership and galaxy) and i haven't fought a single "killer fleet" just some powerful ones

yeah i used almost 3k turns doing 1% missions without meeting a killer fleet  :)

the only reply i can give to u all from wat i remember from one of emi's post this game isnt ment to be grown by just missions missions are a bonus addon this game is ment to be grown by fight each other and wars. even thought i dont play anymore i say this so for those of you who only do missions and complain explore all wat this game has to offer. this is a war game not a mission game

I agree with you smee.  But battling other people doesn't give you credits unless you raid their base, and at this point it isn't much to raid.  Also, if everyone around you has been doing misssions and has powerships that can withstan anything you throw at them even a fleet of 10 thousand ships then missions are helpful to get credits and to get more powerful ships to blow up the other powerships.

well, missions are more like a setback, so he really made that one right, and since ships just keep exploding when u steal em, its pretty hard to make money from war too... =(

thats why i do missions only every so often, although now with the killer fleets number seemingly gone down i do them a bit more than before since i now get 3 mill per 1% missions and i need creds sometimes to buy more powerful ships

missions = credits

turns = credits

wars against other players = segments and/or ships that you can steal

except the only REAL (no offense) step in the right direction of making it worth attacking others... is bounties, everything else is independent of attacking other people, leaving the only reason to attack someone is to bring them down...  not grow yourself.  in fact, the few things you can get by attacking others, more often then not you can get even more of by simply doing the missions.

so in short, we are trying to grow.  if attacking someone else is not going to help do that, then what's the pointof doing it?

I agree that its somewhat pointless to board ships as the chance of stealing the ship is quite low and if you dont get the ship you're out the cost of your marines. I stick to missions and encounters.

The point of attacking another person isn't to gain anything yourself, but it's to beat that guy down the ranks...
That's what attacks are for if you ask me, but that's just me, and who am I? :sweat

(But I'm doing fine, while I see every1 complaining about every1 and everything, kinda funny... Yeah I lose ships aswell, but that's what you build up a secret base for, and sometimes you lose the ship you just bought back again, yeah sh*t happens. Ever heard of: get beaten, fall down, get up, STRIKE BACK HARDER! :confused:

And ABI, yes, some people need to stop complaining, but then there are some who have legitimate claims. Gotta give some of them some slack, sometimes.
