Ok, we all know that resolution has been saying all round he's trying to force new players to quit.. Emi doesn't seem to care or bother doing anything about it so it's about time we push it in his face and get it dealt with..

Ok.. I'm sick of this and you HAVE to take action emi.. Most everyone who is actively playing at the minute can vouch for this:

Resolution is saying it CONSTANTLY, night after night without fail.. Action has to be taken against him Emi. He can't be allowed to try and run off every new player there is.. His argument is he is saving them their money.. This is his way of vengeance because highlandknight (HK) wasn't banned from when he was caught alt abusing, although resolution (a.k.a stressedout) got his planet back.. You can't allow him to further damage this already dying game.. Us active players are trying to resurrect and people like resolution are trying to put the game six feet under.

Please do try to take measures against resolution, I only want to see this game return to all it's former glory. I enjoy playing this game.

Alright guys, I gotta be honest. He's saying it. I've yet to see anyone yell "OMGWTFBBQ I QUIT BECAUSE OF (insert name here)". There's no real proof anyone quit because of him. Even then, is that against the rules, ultimately? It's a player's decision to stop playing. Did Emi get banned for Lighty or Spayed quitting? Nah...

Besides, Resolution or whoever the hell he is, he can't really do anything. He's worse at the game than me. ME. You know what I mean? He couldn't zero HK if Nighty told him how step by step. Just chill out, ignore the creeper.

I see what you're saying.. But he's still good enough to kill the people who are only just starting out in the game.. And nobody wants to stick around if every day they get put straight back to square 1?

He purposefully finds new players, gains their trust, helps them to get up to that sort of power and then he kills them and tries to make everybody else convince them.. Not the most welcoming community ever.. :sweat

I'll be honest here. New players should be smart enough to click 'forum'. From there, easy access to information, or names of correct people to contact..

its less the fact that he kills new players, i mean cm'on if dredwick couldnt defend 10q credits would you take them? hell, i know i would.. its the same thing on a smaller scale. the fact is that he lords himself over all 'noob' players because he knows how to click an attack button.. when really, as soon as anyone touches him he whines like a little .. well, anyway he's an abusive little boy and the game would be much better without him. he should be banned simply for the foul attitude he displays towards anyone that talks to him

No matter what is said or done. Everyone will still belive what ever they want, and all noobs will never be given a fair chance.
I was attacked 9 times by 1 person costing me 2 mains.

Prophet's 4T 65B FP  - 3.999.999.985.465 credits
Juliet CORE -              3.839.999.999.990 credits.

You would have thought that I would have been atleast put in a neb after I lost the 1 main, but due to the way that I was attacked the attacks were targeting my mains only. There was no defence that I could have done about it due to the fact that the way the nebs are set up I lost a large main on the 5th attack and then 4 attacks latter I lost another main before I was put in a neb.
in 9 attacks I 7.839.999.985.455 in credits in ships alone that does not include the amount of credits that it took to resupply the marines on them. I will not beable to recover from that.

Lolz, he should be muted. If every not a very nice person got banned, we'd have a lot less recognizable names in this game. He's just a pest.

Oh and I only got 2 counters out of 9 attacks.
After he drops his power too low for it to even matter if I counter him or not. It would not do any good.

Yes but alot of the time people would rather get help from people that come to them, rather than having to go seeking out help. When I first started I didn't touch the forum for ages lol.. It's easier to get information as and when it's needed by somebody via pm rather than sifting through the forums. Also, if you just started, you wouldn't know anybody's names who were reliable enough..
      Maybe if there was a button for like a help zone or something, where a group of experienced players who have volunteered to help out could give the newer players advice. And when the account is made it could keep telling them about this help zone.

@ Lt. Lolz: I completely agree with you there! You managed to rephrase what I said to more the meaning I actually meant.

@ Mech: I know that it will not stop you quitting :( But it could potentially save alot of others in the future from suffering the same cruel fate which you were forced to endure throughout your short time within the game :/

I tend to agree that players like stressedout, nighty, emy are bad news for new players in this game. They are what i call chicken poop players that can only bully around new players they know dont know how to play the game and so seem to be trying to make up for their own short comings in real life by picking on the weaker players and when they are done they reserve or sell off ships and go hide under the rock they keep crawling out from under...

That being said... Mech Im sure youve been told about pships... why are you not using them?
they are a very cheap way of covering your mains and when your attacked you will get back about 50% the cost of the pships... be put into a neb... and still have your mains...

Even if I were to sell off everything that I have right now I still could not put enough pships in front of my 1 main that I have left.

I could donate $50 and still not have enough to put in front of my lone main.
If I drop out of the top 10 then Gaz would still have won. He said that "No noobs should ever be in the top 10" and he will cont. to attack me untill I am out of the top 15.
I even posted that message in the allaince chat.

It for that reason in addition to people like Gaz, HK and res, in addition to people like Gaz being allowed to get away with 9 attacks on the 5th attack I loose a 4T ships (should have been put in a neb there but was not) then 4 more attacks I loose a second 4T ship before I am even put in a neb.

The attacks were targeted on my mains alone as capt has seen when he logged in to my account (with my permission). That are uncalled for and will turn away all noob players.


It is also well knows that all "VETS" tend to think that all new players are res/stressed there for they do not even get a chance and get attacked. Even before they know how to play the game.

One of few times I'll agree with Spank. He really isn't doing anything against the rules. But as you can see he's really not scaring away new players. He's just being upfront and honest about what he's doing. Apparently people don't like honest players (case in point myself being blatantly honest with spanky and him not accepting it). To be honest there is nothing Emi can do, because he's not breaking any TOS. I'm sorry for the trouble he's causing, but it's all well within the rules. He's just in internet terms trolling you all, and you're all accepting the bait. He's picking on new players, because you guys are picking on him. It's just a giant downward spiral of skill up until the new players. I'll put this in another perspective so everyone can see.

There is a Hierarchy of being attacked, and everyone's goal is to be on the top, and if you're not then you pick on the next person down, because the person above you is better then you, and you can't accept complete defeat so you need to pick on someone either affiliated with him, or someone altogether because everyone affiliated is better as well.

So they attacked
Gilgamesh and other top 10 players within my alliance
Who in return attacked
Cobra, Redcap, and other NLA in top 20
Who couldn't find space pirates, so they attacked
Shackled, chickenbutt, and HKs guys (before this round when everyone "good" quit)
who couldn't find any NLA, so they attacked
Grondavour, resolution, and all the mid skilled players who know basics, but suck
Who couldn't find anyone left with skill at all to attack, so they went after
Nubs, and people just starting the game


You see it's a "food chain" of who gets attacked, and it all starts at the top. So if you really want him to stop attacking the newbs, then you may as well just take pvp out altogether, because the Low skilled players will always go after the no skilled players, and mid skilled will go after the low skilled. You're not gonna stop it by banning one person no breaking the rules.

Then have all the vets stop attacking the noobs and have them teach them.

The "Training allaince" does not train.

I have also notived that people are getting attacked 9+ times with only there mains being targeted and no pships ever being destroyed.

I watched "The Mechanic" get attacked 9 time last night. He even posted the attacked. on the 5th attack he lost a 4T main and on the 9th attack he lost a second 4T main. While the person attacking him dropped low enough that a counter would be worthless.

There should be a set max number of attacks that can be done on someone by 1 person. Just as there is on raids.

The Mechanic is a new player that is quiting not due to me, but due to people like Gaz who lead him to belive that he was helping him, then broke a truce with him and destroyed his mains in the middle of an incureson after he lowered his guard as Gaz told him too.
Chickenbutt attacked his planet cause "he was told to attack it or be run out of the game".
Core attacked him 16 times in a 20 min time frame. then last night Gaz attacking him 9 time taking 2 4T mains (lost one on the 5th attack and anouther one on the 9Th attack) before he went in to a neb.

It is not me that is doing anything. It is people like Gaz. I also have even noted that when people like HK (highlandknight) does alt abuse he gets away with the "granddaughter" account thing. Just like when he took the stressedout accounts planet a few rounds back he was not band for using others account. Yes stressedout got his planet back, yet that was against the TOS, and you let him stay in the game.

It is not me but you who that is not following the TOS, and allowing the game to spiral downworad.

I have to agree with the various comments that Resolution isn't breaking any rules.
What he is doing may be unethical but this accusation has been made before in this game about other people.
Unfortunately, this game does come down to the survival of the fittest... I may sound harsh but that is a fact.
As for Gazkuls board attacks.... no way should a player be able to attack mains that many times.... and what I mean by that is... if that happens, you havent defended yourself properly.   Powerships are a must. you have to be an extremely experienced player not to go with them (and usually enough power so not to be touched)
2nd rule..... use dummies or swarmers to go behind your mains this limits the number of ships attacking your mains.
3rd rule...... Marine as much as you can afford to.... and more.
if you cant afford the powership cover, then you should buy a lower powered main instead.

Note to all new players... if you want help and don't know who to turn to, then ask in game chat... most players will direct you to the people to trust. Be wary of high ID numbers.....

Mechanic.... I know your in an alliance with william, but I strongly recommed you join an established alliance even if its just for one round to get some experience.... william should really do the same.

Just to add.... when I started I was attacked often by a vet.... someone called Nighty. A round or 2 later it became Cammy and Chicken on a Chain.  I had to learn or quit.  There's been rounds that I've been attacked and there's not been a thing I could do about it ( rounds involving big donators have been one reason). Then I have to play defensively... that often means having credits in reserve to rebuild when hit.
I don't approve of new players being hit, but in this game it's hard to stop it. All I can do myself is try to help and advise, and I know for sure there's several 'Vets' out there that would be happy to do the same.

Yeah.. Sucks for the new guys but I agree with some of saturns comments.. I was attacked by some vets when i first started playing but it made me a better player.. Problem now is I don't think there is enough vets helping people now.. Not saying the few out there don't help theres just not enough now or they don't have enough time.. Back when me and sat first started playing there was ample training alliances and ample friendly vets offering help to all. Just don't have the player base anymore to do this.. Although res is being a prick he's not breaking any rules. I'm also seeing in this post how uninvolved emi is with this game now. Not saying that this couldnt be a busy time for him being the Holidays and all but still.  Oh.. and spanky sucks... what a girl

dont really play on main but from the forum posts i think the mechanic is just whining on and on about how he got attacked and first tried to suggest it was abuse then later decided that it was a fault in the game. GET OVER IT. if u didnt get attacked u probably wouldn't have found the forum button urself.

and then there are ppl complaining about training alliances. lemme just ask this how did the first few ppl learn? if they could do it then surely u can too now that u have some sources of advice i.e. forum and as u put it "vets".

and surely u "vets" can come up with ways to force ppl to quit if u wanted too. that person who has been trying to get new players to quit, u could just continuously zero him. if he still doesnt quit then atleast now one will listen to him as he would be seriously low in the rankings.

nah.. doesnt work like that on main anymore... Can't really zero anyone anymore... would have to take out their planets and all ships in one swoop.. pretty much impossible

To effectively zero someone, it would need some incompetence on their part to achieve it..... and luck.
As Cam said, you'd need to simultaneously hit stations, mines and ships, and then with the ships ...successfully board and capture them all to prevent them gaining compensation.

Yeah.. and you can't hardly attack planets anymore either.. have to be within a certain power range and you leave counters and it enters rebellions and attacks are the same way

I tried. Noone would allow me to join them.
It would appear that every new player is an alt of some "vet" or of "res or stressed". There for I was not allowed to join any allaince at all.

Quite a few alliances are permamently suspicious, so they won't recruit those they do not have a 100% certaintly of who they are.. or who they are not!! (I think these alliances have had their fingers burnt in the past with their recruitement)
Others, including Nemesis are careful on recruitment but not paranoid.  What I mean by that is we recruit, but want to see 2 main things in a member... 1. potential ability, 2. loyalty to the alliance, 3. likely to keep playing.  (sorry thats 3 :stupid:)

Nemesis has allowed alts in, the only things I ask of alts is that I know the main account. Another reason that we havent the paranoia is that we havent anything to hide in Nemesis, we dont plot behind peoples backs so there's nothing really to spy on us.

I will say that currently, there are not many active alliances, so your choices are low.

If it comes to it then I'm more than willing to put an alt in an alliance or even start a training one (though I'd really need help due to my limited play time)

Elite sucks. Nobody plays. The guy in first is like 200x anyones size or something and quit ages ago. Sea-o idek anymore

I don't attack newbies. If I hit anyone all round they were experienced players. Nor do I use an alt to attack newbies. I have offered credits, and planets to new people starting out. I have given advice to several people who are now doing better then they were. I even took time to write a quick 'how to guide' for new people. I would love for the player base to grow here. It's the same ol' people, just under new names that play. I'm not here to make newbies quit.

As for, The Mechanic, everyone is entitled to there own opinion on this matter. Mines is, that I believe he is, Stressed. I have proof and that's fine for me. I won't be told otherwise. He's no newb, he had a planet up first, and knows how to play.

For people starting out, they should all receive a pm about the forum and a link to several guides. I think it would be a great start. I have seen new people ask for help on chat and they get no replies.

I'm not trying to throw anyone under the bus, but Mythknight, and Catlady have attacked newbies since day one. They would power up, raid, board, whatever, reserve there ships and go offline. I don't think that is really helping new players out.

Ask HK as to why I built the planet as fast as I did.
I had too many segments and he kept attacking me. I asked him why he told that was the reason. He told that there were 2 ways that I could get rid of them. Either let someone take them or build a planet. So I built a planet way too early.
That is why I had a planet as fast as I did.
Just ask HK.

As I'm in Gaz's alliance I can confirm his hits and how much he actually helps. Hell, he even offered me a planet XD
