Title: SO Elite - Total Assets Removal Post by: V on July 21, 2011, 02:57:48 PM I propose that you disable the total assets listing until the end of the round. Make it so that we CANNOT tell what each other have.
There is a VERY large aspect to this game in respect to strategy and knowing the value of the other players account. Meaning that it takes a very large part of the strategy away when you can just see how much someone's net worth is. For example, I can pretty much tell if someone is using marines by looking at ship size and comparing to net worth. I don't believe you should be able to do that. Another example is that if I want to keep lots of cash in my base, and use smaller ships to throw people off, than they will know I have tons of cash in my base, again by looking at net worth and ship size. Emi, this takes a large part of strategy out of PvP and I propose that only YOU should be able to see total assets. I still want end rankings to be determined by such, but I believe it is unfair to display it for all to see. ---Wes Title: Re: SO Elite - Total Assets Removal Post by: Spayed on July 23, 2011, 05:16:03 AM totally agree with this. your not going to attack anyone that you know for sure has more cash then you.
