When attempting full scale assault,

If warp chance is 100%, then the attacker will now get the following message:

"TARGET(#ID)'s mothership executed an evasive maneuver and escaped our locking attempt.
You will not be able to lock this mothership until it is in your power range!"

Power range means 0% - 99% warp chance.

I thoguht galaxy attacks only gave a warp chance if you were attack someone smaller then you?

All we need is to stop people of extremely low power annoying and warping constantly anyone in same sector as them.  Why would a fleet of trills power run away from a dummy ship? Before we could change our settings and cause that little annoyance to go splat against out hulls.

I see this as an update to prevent low players from feeding off a high level player. Personally I think it would be better to just make raiding and scouting impossible on an attack to someone on your sun instead as a means to prevent this.

What is wrong with a high ranked player giving a noobie a little extra cash? Or if the higher ranked player gets caught with their pants down?

There is a lot wrong with a high ranked player feeding a low ranked, because it can be abused fairly easily. IE to attack another low ranked player the high ranked doesn't like.

How about giving Full Assaults the same attack restriction as exist for remote assaults, and returning the option to define the warp chance if attacked.

It gets very tedious being warped by a dummy ship when in an incursion.

This could work, for example if you send fleets that are less then 1% of the enemy fleet, that they will return and say the enemy was too powerful to fight and they retreated...

if people send in anything with more then 1% of your power they'll kill powerships and fail at scounting, unless they're that desperete and send in a high hp ship

the-borg I can scout with my mains and not kill pships

Just doing a X% of their power won't fix that but I would like a % based figure to prevent tiny people from warping more then 1% though
