This is for SO WARS

well right now there is more pve going on than pvp and since it is a pvp server thats never meant to reset, i suggest a few changes be made. what are these changes? well thats for u to decide. i provide the problem u r the ppl with the solutions :D :)

having this many stars in wars makes pvp really hard, and since its a pvp server, this is a problem.

we need something to make attacking people easier..
this would make wars a lot better

Yeah reduced number of stars and auto-intel would go a long way towards fixing this.

i dont play that often but i def think that the amount of stars needs to be drastically reduced. there isnt enough players for that many stars

I am working on the following for SO Wars & SO Main.

- auto intel on players that are inactive for 24 hours
- auto remove mothership from Galaxy if player is inactive for 45 days, intel contracts removed
- Gold can search design database on SO Main and clone ship to WARS


This will be available asap.

sounds good, has it been updated so that people with base power are not included in the galaxy at all?

even after the 2 changes there is still more pve than pvp. can incursions stop on wars?

how about ALWAYS auto-intel everything on WARS (stations, mining facilities, planets, commanders)

(no 24 hour window, we could just have people chasing each other around all day)

then no one can hide anything, they just have to learn to fight (and defend) if they want to survive

no cause it would still be easier to pve than pvp so wouldn't really help a lot

i think auto-intel'ing everything would help anyone attack whatever they want, thus increasing pvp.  Also the same Pvp update that was made on main being implemented will help(which is happening, its another thread).

That would be a very bad idea would make it way to easy for the top alliance to completely control the server.

Galaxy size definitely needs reduced though.

well, i did not really agree with my suggestion either, just thought i would put it out there

on, a more productive note then

i think it would make since for the galaxy to grow as stations and planets are placed.

I think the number of stars per quadrant is good, we just need less quadrants.  Then we add more quadrants as needed. 

For example:
We could have started out with just one quadrant (30 stars).  Once 10 stars were occupied, then another quadrant would have been added, and so on and so forth.

Yeah that would be good if it is possible to do.
Of course encryption and interactive spawns would have to go way up.

i still think that getting rid of incursions will make pvp mor popular

If people actually used the incursion it help promote pvp :D
