Bad idea period to much of an advantage for upgraded players

Hows this for a better idea anyone who makes it in the top 10 gains 1 turn every 2 minutes for the first 2 weeks of a round :p

it was a good try and i am sure anyone who has gold account would definitly go for it but to much of  a disadvantage   B-)

no to much of an advantage. i do think there should be some more bonuses related with a gold account.  possibly reduced research fields?

eh.. i think gold is decent the way it is.. we just need to fix some things in the game.. and what ever happened to the whole fleet commader thing? and i thought there was supposed to be a change to the attack system to help out with buddy nebbing and what not

Sure being able to do twice as much as someone without Gold is not a big advantage at all.

or have something on the interface where you can put cp in to increase turns every min then every one has the option if they wish

You could have an increased maximum number of turns. Wouldn't giver 2 a min though, far too big an advantage

I once made a suggestion of reducing turn generation while in a nebula as a way to disincentivise being in a neb ALL the time.

I was told Not to mess around with turns they are scarce enough as it is.

Having certain players generating twice as much as everyone else I would have to say a BIG no to.

Think people are overlooking the fact that with gold your maximum amount of turns goes up from 3,000 to 5,000 already.
Another advantage is that you get double the interest on your stash and the 20% ship resupply discount..... think thats quite a big advantage over non gold accounts.
So personnaly I dont think it needs any more game play benefits.

What about.. say.. 10-15 extra turns an hour, they would be awarded on the first minute of every hour automatically?

nah i dont think turns should be messed with, personally i cant use the turns i get a day anyway...

it isnt really that big of a bonus sat.

nobody used the intrest. the 20% discount into 4%

anybody can design a decent ship.

I am working on PvP related improvements and incentives at the moment.

Gold may receive a slight PvP advantage. +10% marines and colonists fighting power for example.

What do you think?

doesnt sound bad.. be a bit of an advantage but doesn't sound like overkill

its a sucky idea. there is no pvp in main anyway and its not worth attacking planets if the stupid turns are still set so d**n high( i havent checked them so i dont know)

whats the use in having pvp bonuses when all it will do will make people hide from me more

better pvp incentives and incentives for staying out of a neb sounds much better :D

i didnt think about that spayed everyone will hide even more then they do now. they know this will happen :bash: :rifle: :gun_bandana: :sniper: :pistols: :))

yes buy if there are real positive incentives to pvp and to being out of a neb i think it would solve the problem of everyone hiding

hiding? i just get attacked every day but i cant speak for everyone

meh the better players hide with buddy or alt nebs and never bring there ships out when un nebbed

better i have only lost my mains once so who cares

you probably dont because the problem does not affect u...

i vote everybody gets 2 turns per minute.  The way things are running right now, most players will not log in for 2 days, get on once, use their 3k turns in about 2 hours, then looff for another 2 days.  More turns = more playing time = more ads shown = more money for emi.

Also this will help players who have been unable to keep a station/planet alive earn money and still be able to get somewhere without having to rely on stations/planets to earn them money

it takes 2 long 2 use turns as it is.

but i guess more turns means ill max in half the time :D

most ppl who do log in for just 2 hrs a day don't have enough time to be logged in all the time. and believe me even if they log on for 2hrs, they log in everyday.
