for some reason when i try to build anything nothing happens.  is there a ratio or somthing of the like? do u need a certain ammonut of segments per upgrade building? or is it on your commander lvl.  help plz!

You need minerals from mining. If you try to upgrade, your minerals will go red if you don't have enough and it will show how many you need. And this belongs in FAQ.

well yea, ive been upgrading alot ever since i found it.  i love it, becuase i dont do so well fleet wise, aka im only lvl 1 and dont eant to waste money or turns on xp.  but ive adpoted swarm tactsics now.  but back to the ponit.  i make sure i have the need minerals.  like i have 42000 carbon, for a bio farm upgrade.  i click the upgade, it says i have enough carbon.  then i click confrim building, it refreshs and nothign has happened.  sorry i didnt go into detail before......

you may need more of another material to do it. Some tka emore materials then others.

Last time I checked, biofarm upgrades only took carbon. I can't check now, however, because the game's down again.

(Update:) Ya, they take only carbon.

When you want to build sumthign first raise the % to the amount you have then click in the little round before it under built and then on build facility. If you havent checked the little round before it you wont build it. You can only built one sort of facility at the same time.

thnx man, i feel really stupid for not noticing it......

You should really work on getting your fleets up to a more meaningful power (at least able to do 1% missions).  Without doing this, most of the buildings mean nothing (how can 1% more hp help with no ships?).  It won't take long once you've done this to get to lvl 2, then 3...

well, with biofarming, it'll increase how much he gets from it. But FTP, I didn't even think about asking if he was doing that. nice call.
