I have recently restarted my hosting business under a new name, I already have a few paying clients and am on a stable server.  After talking to Emi, who thinks this is a good idea and who had given me the go ahead, I have purchased http://www.so-alliance.net

I will be offering both free and paid hosting to any alliance, or any individual that wants it, Free hosting will require the placement of a SpaceO Banner Ad at the top of your site, one that links to my affiliate account.  The hosting plans are as follows, from the cheapest to the most expensive.  If you buy a paid hosting plan, use the Promo Code 'SOAlliances' upon checkout for a permanent 10% discount on your hosting plan.  All accounts come with a subdomain, http://alliancename.so-alliance.net however I sell domain names for a flat rate if you wish to purchase through me.  When you register, you MUST provide a valid phone number, I have a fraud detection system and it will either automatically call you, and give you a 4 digit number for verification, or it will send the number to you in a text message.

When you register, if you would like a sub-domain (youralliance.so-alliance.net), click the 'I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain.'  Two boxes will appear with the format:

www.[                         ].[    ]

Enter your alliance name in the first box, all lowercase with no spaces, you may use the - character if your choose to, and then enter so-alliance.net in the second box, or if you already own a domain name that you wish to use, type it into the box.

Registration is accepted through PayPal, unless you get a free account, which will NOT require any financial information.  When asked for a Company, please put 'Space Odyssey' so that you will be added to the proper Client Group, this will speed up the activation process for free accounts.

how much is the hosting for any domain name, not necessarily a so alliance page

Those are the prices for all the plans, you can use the SOAlliances promo code for 10% off.  If you own the domain, there is no charge, if you would like me to register a domain for you the prices vary based on what you want, the flat fee is $10, but if you don't mind me keeping control of the domain, I can use my discount club code and get you a .com domain for all of $7 or a .info domain for $2

Having trouble with the free forum hosting. I signed up and created a new forum...but it didn't give me a pass and haven't received anything via email...so I can't access it :(
