humm you have to learn how to use other sites to place it on.. cause the image shack makes it look real dumb try to figure out how to post them out like otherppl have (sorry i cant tell you how i do it my friend wont share his server)

no its an exact copy...

nope not an exact copy, just used the tutorial and did what the tutorial said.... just like most of the other images up here... not like i c&ped the images the guy had up... looks closer if ya think i did.

well it is rotated a bit, but still i looked at that guys stuff try finding different tourorials hes really arnt that great... i found a good one on goolgle cant reamber witch but its the one that me and 0cossin77 used (0cossin coyed it excally and i put in a little twist)

put up another 2 planets :) tutorials are real useful and i switched up the purple one a bit :)

shadow find a different tourotial i hate to say this but thouse arnt that planet like (thought they do look cool :P) some tourials are better than others, and thats not one of the best

there thats one of the best, the one that me, and 0cossin77 have been useing to make our planets.. its much better than the one your useing

yeah i know the tutorial isnt the best, i think they do look quite planet-like though... im gonan try the other tutorial also though...

quite?!?! lol look at mine, and 0cossin77's planets then your see what planet-like looks like, they mostly look like colored blobs to me, that happened to be cicular

They look like gas gaints to me. And Shadows, that last desktop one could be a wormhole for Hyperspace. I'm one of those subscribers to the wormhole is colorful theory. I even said it looked kind of like that one (only I used a different, slightly better picture) in my story.

now i like that last one, thats really cool

Yes, it is. It's so, swirly and colorful.

Yeah i really like that last one (got is as my desktop :)), and i figured it sorta looked like a wormhole so i put it up :) and as for my other planets, the only planet is the purple one, which is sort of barren like, the red one is a gas giant, one is exploding, and the other one is a sun up close...

Well, good job, I think they're great.

yeah just fixed up the purple planet a bit and made it get blasted by an ion cannon :)

Did my new picture w/o tutorials, and i think it looks pretty good :) i just used a combination of techniques fronm all the other planets lol

here's a tip

after you add "noise" as stars , go to image / adjustments / brightnes/contras and set the brightness to -50 and contras +55  L:)

it will look much better.

Ahh and another thing , when adding noise , add at amount 15%.

we need to teach you how to make the shadow on a planet.. great textures but the shadows to much...

what you do is before you sperize it get you paintbrush set it to black and put it at 10% useage or whatever its called... then start at the middle of the planet and work your way down slowly doing that (as in start off shading the planet from the middle, back, then a little less and all the way to the corrner, untill your planet looks like it slowly fades with a bit of black in the very bottom corrner...

meh this is supposed to be a darker shading thoguh (this last one) because of the asteroid coming at it :) but yeah i should probly change the shading a bit...

well too late to redo shade w/o redoing entire thing, so i made asteroid bigger giving the increased darkness a reason...

and lamma ur sayin my planets dont look that great, but eh lookin at a few of urs... well teh red one isnt very realistic at all, adn moons is same color and similar texture, adn the lines on the blue planet are going over teh shading...

not tryin to be offensive, or saying mine are perfect, i know mine could use a bit of work... im just sayin some of yours could also...
