Title: Is it possible to attack others hiding in nebula? Post by: tip on June 05, 2009, 02:58:49 AM I was attacked and ended up in the nebula. The opponent then scout for my secret base. 38 seconds later he found my secret base, and raided it.
What I don't understand is, isn't the nebula protection lasted for 24 hours? How can it be that only after couple of seconds the opponent locating my secret base? Proof 1: 2009-06-03 08:07:29 REMOTE ATTACK - BOARD!!! deerslayer(#52952) boarded your fleet and mothership. At exactly 2009-06-03 08:07:29 I ended up in the nebula. Proof 2: 2009-06-03 08:08:07 REMOTE ATTACK - SCOUT!!! Scouting party identified as belonging to deerslayer(#52952). ALERT! The enemy located and scaned your secret base. By 2009-06-03 08:08:07, a mere 38 seconds AFTER the initial attack (while I was still hiding in the nebula), opponent found my secret base. How can that be? 1. Did you see all of those messages when you logged on or when you online when he attacked? 2. How do you know you were in a nebula? Can you see a small timer on screen? My theory is that he did not neb you in the first attack. He has to destroy 20% or more of your total fleet power and it seems you lost just one ship in the first attack and I therefore doubt whether you had enough power out to be nebbed in the first attacked. Post by: Spayed on June 05, 2009, 09:57:49 PM yea i agree with tony, all the attacks must have been before you were nebbed, unless it was at the incursion but that seems unlikely becuase you need to wait 2 minutes between attacks at the incursion
