Title: Another planet attack button

Now we have to raid types of button's (raid workers/raid resources) but we only have one conquer which is a simple ownership change but I was wondering how about having a "military" occupiation button meaning the owner doesn't change and still has all the features but the "conquerer" would also have acess to certer features.

(This Idea might not be good and I'm sorry for that and something could be added to the idea as well...)

Having the ability to occupy a planet thereby denying the owner the resources/credits it produces has merit, I'm not sure an occupying force would be able to access these either. Assume the population would not support the occupation so the occupier could not really benefit.

The benefit in occupying a planet is it would allow a commander to deny an enemy their resources without having to research the tech needed to take another planet.

haha it takes about 50 turns 2 research for another planet, well could be more depending on how many you already have..

i dont really like the idea

Spayed I believe this idea is more for Wars than Main.
On Wars it is 6K turns and Cp for level 2 Planet Construction.
This makes it very hard for people to put it much beyond that.
I think this would be a very interesting attack type on Wars.

Yes its mostly would be for wars as if we all know wars is being left out of most updates and in all respect is "dieing" off (yes I do play Wars only)

I only posted the general idea like I mentioned early alot of the details should/have to be added... I'm wanting to see the overall view of having a another attack button not really reasons yet as I don't want to spend time "fixing" in idea that nobody is going to want...

I think it would have to have a limit of how man you could have occupied at once otherwise someone like Rabbites would be able to just occupy every planet on the server lol.

Maybe make a tech for it? Have to station a ship with marines on the planet..something like that?

Simple they have to rebell aka kill 25-50% of the attackers "forces/supplies" thus the attacker/occupation can't go on and the planet is freed,

To answer about a "maxium" limit yes we'll need one as it will prevent larger alliances/players from grabbing planets and farming them for profits while the "owner" can't do much to stop them...  Also we all know occupations are not permit and over a x amont of time the occupation forces will retreat or become demoralized or run out of supplies thus can't occpy and will be killed by the owners colonist forces which means the occupation force will need supplies or they will automatic "Die" off from rebelling attacks. Also the occuaption force can only be x% of the total population (but can't be more then 75% that will prevent people from sending in forces that is 10x larger and preventing people from rebelling...

Edit: Changed 65% to x% and added a little bit...
