I had a warp travel item in my "Items Active" list. I had an item, clicked "use" so it went into the active items list, and tried to jump to somewhere miles away with only 96 turns. It said not enough turns but the item was gone.
Is the check in the right place? (i.e. after the comparison of the number of turns needed and your current turn count, and hence determination of the # turns used, not just after the distance calculation) ahydra Title: Re: Warp travel item used when I didn't go anywhere Post by: SirEmi on March 20, 2009, 03:49:53 PM I am in the process of changing the warp travel items so it will decrease warp travel costs by fixed turns amount instead of percent.
I will also address the 0 turns jump to see if it does use the item or not. The item should not be used if the default jump cost is 0 turns, like when going into Incursion. Thank you. Also I think that a number of turns decrease is a good idea - 1.2% off your average sized jump isn't even enough to reduce it by 1 turn :)
