Title: GameTap Post by: Chronos on March 10, 2009, 06:13:11 PM You may or may not have heard of GameTap (http://www.gametap.com/). It's a nice service with plenty of good games. I like it, at least. Anyways, they're having a promotional pricing. In about a week, they are going to launch a redesign of their site and introduce a new pricing plan.
I just thought I'd tell people that, until 11:59 pm EST, March 15—that's this Sunday—they're offering they're everything-plan for $60 a year ($5 a month), with that price locked in for life. After that, it'll be $80 a year (~$6,67 a month). You might want to take a quick look, if you have not already. Some might find it worthwhile, while others may not. It depends upon the person. Oh, if you're only ever going to want access to they're console and arcade titles, the stuff the GameTap player emulates, in a week or two they'll be launching they're Classic Pack option. $50 a year will net over 500 console and arcade titles. I just thought I'd tell everybody. You can find GameTap over here (http://www.gametap.com/). Title: Re: GameTap Post by: Chronos on March 15, 2009, 03:55:27 PM Still good till 11:59 EDT/8:59 PDT.
Title: Re: GameTap Post by: Seither on March 15, 2009, 04:39:25 PM meh, i've never been impressed by gametap really. 1/2 the games never worked for me when I tried them way back.
Title: Re: GameTap Post by: Chronos on March 15, 2009, 10:12:19 PM Hmm, I've only had problems with two games, and they were both 10-20 years old, and I didn't really want to play them anyway.
