Title: No nebula Post by: Yugi Moto on March 02, 2009, 11:20:34 PM in the tut's is says that if you lose more then 20% of your fleet then you will hide in a nebula. my entire fleet was knocked out by one person. do you only go into a nebula on the war server?

I lost 23% before I got neb'd but that was over seven attacks. As such I guess things like building new ships/segments/workers will reset the "damage taken" count (so if you build a new ship you can be beaten up 20% of your new power), but I'm not sure. Whatever happens it seems to be 20% of total power required in terms of damage anyway :) okay, each unsuccessful attack (and by succesful I mean an attack that nebs you) reduces your fp (either by losing ships or segs). So as each small attack lowers your fp, the amount of fp required to go into neb decreases. I can bet you 1 tril creds that the last attack that neb you was enough to get you over 20% total power...it wasn't because the attack was accumulative. Perhaps SirEmi can clarify the neb rules?
