Title: Free-Form Video Games Post by: Chronos on December 04, 2008, 03:51:20 PM Most of you have probably experienced freeform or nonlinear games, such as Oblivion, Fallout, or GTA, at least once in your life, so--just out of curiousity, I will pose a question:

Title: Re: Free-Form Video Games Post by: Seither on December 10, 2008, 11:11:27 PM I like my games with a story, that you can take as long as you want to complete, yet have all these sidequest like stuff to do, but not feel you NEED to. Fable 2 and Sonic Unleashed are great examples of this. You can go do your own thing,and the main story is always there, so you can just plow through it if you wish and ignore everything else, or you can do everything else and only touch on the story when you feel like it.
i voted I prefer a pretty even balance between the main arc and the freeform content. |
