... btw... that ship cost roughly 19 bil before anything, I have gold, so 20% off that, then an additional 5% after that... meaning what? it costs roughly 14.4 bil?

I just got 9 billion on insurance on a ship that costs 14.4 billion to replace... even taking into account the segments I got... that's pretty low for losing the ship, I mean what? only 64% insured? that's just alittle over half.

Ars as I see it your ship has 68% abs. right? If that is correct then the enemy fleet did 12454778967.4088 damage and your ship could only sustain 4748416387 damage. If you need me to I can elaborate on how I reached these numbers. Other than that I agree that the insurance is pretty much a joke lol.

... ok, lemme re-emphasize the main point here... it tried to say I lost 0% of my fleep power with that ship.

the other 2 things I know there probably right, just really really stupid.

lemme rephrase that, we already all know the 2 other things, insurance and losing big ships to fp's it shouldn't be, are there and really stupid, and already know everything there is 'working fine' and won't/can't be fixed.  the thing I'm point out is that in results it said I lost 0% of my fleet power, when really I lost close to 10%

yea, its happened 2 me b4 aswell, but it dont really effect anything

that's a fleet thats barely 1.5 times bigger than my main and it killed it .....

I think insurance only works for encryptions and contracts

What you hit there was a worst case scenario. A one fleet full of swarmer ships. You where lucky to lose only the one ship :) Anyway, the 1 fleet enemy rarely appears, it's usually 3-8 fleets. Insurance does dot cover attacking of aliens.

Ars, insurance is about 80% of the real value of the ship lost. Real value is Ship Value * (Cmd Bonus + Ms Modules Bonus) * (Gold Bonus)

so fleet cost calculator isn't working for aliens also ?

meh its just a crap fleet you hit.. fleets like that shouldnt be in the game like that, and everyone is still missing the point here there is a bug.. it showed the incorrect battle percentage of ships lost

yes... I know... again tho, the main point is that it said I lost 0% of my fleet, when clearly I did lose something.


and yes... I remember from before insurance supposed to be 80%... that was 64%.  unless those segments are being counted as worth that extra 16%, which in that case seems a little high... around 2 billion credits for 1.3k segments?  well... I suppose that may be about right.  but again, we all already know what's up with the mission fleets and insurance.

but like I said, the main reason for this is the fact it said I lost 0%.  battle log lies!  I think the battle log's calculator broke on this one.  :))
