This player has been baned for repeated abuse on other players and breaking the Space Odyssey TOS, hacking attempts, not reporting bugs and exploiting using automated scripts, etc

An investigation of his logs and actions is underway...

Who did he abuse? I could see all the others, but not abuse.

when you find a bug , you dont go attaking everyone with it. he attaked a lot of the members from top 20. including me lamma frank and otthers. he found a way to make buged fleets and for that he got banned , he made cheap fleets cost a lot and then sell them and made a fortune. smt like that.

I see. Still, I'd like to hear the story from Sir Emi before I totally believe it, if you don't mind.

He is in my alliance I sent him a message that he needs to address this here or with Sir Emi.

one gone now emi needs to deal with Jeff hes bean useing dial up and multiple windows to to the same encounter 5-30 times, inoreder to get money to attack me. i think him useing a bug to attack me is very unjust showing that hes been useing this for the past few weeks and ive lost 100's of billions of marines to him constantly useing this bug to get unjust money and attack me...

(proff is in the new when ppl see him do the same thing over and over.. and in chat last night when he formaly admitted to doing it, and in convesions hes had were i recall him saying something like "oh i got 180billion off that one enought to attack lammalord back"

How come his account still exists? He has about 900.000.000 power. Was he banned yes or no?

A baned account still exists, it is not deleted but it can not be accessed... it can be attacked, altough you won't find anything but some segmetns on him right now.
He used a bug that was making a tiny fleet bigger, by forcing upgrades in the ship using posting scripts to bypass the checks. When a forced upgrade was induced, it triggered a protection system in place, that was trying to repair the fleet. The protection system made the ship bigger in space to fit the upgrade, not allowing the space to go negative. This had the side effect of making the fleet more expensive. By buying the fleet first, using the bug, and then selling the fleet, he would get more credits.
He was warned, the fleets where fixed, but the problem wasn't clear until he used it again. Then he was baned, the investigation revealed the problem, and now the system is fixed on this part.

The protecton system was upgraded, the fleet space will not be increased anymore, but if for some reason upgrades would be forced on a fleet, the system will start and check every upgrade, and remove the intruding upgrades on detection, leaving the clean fleet in place.
Also the fleet checker will start now and then on its own, fixing any undetected anomalies...

So in the end, the only thing he managed to do is to make the system smarter... :))

THis round is now , we have ToS now , and updates made regualry , with your support and help this game will grow and gather hundreds of persons online at the same tim , Alliance wars , fights for minerals , planets , quadrants and many more to come. so leave the past and respect what SpaceOdyssey is now, and will become.

Well, it might as well be implemented, since we have them anyway.

sure but ill never get involed in ever actally building an allaince army sceems to stubid and if a never build one how can you team up to kill my ships?

lol, I'm not of the drinking age either, but it's an empty galaxy, who's gonna tell us not to, lol? And if we say we're from europe, we are of the drinking age. There are ways.....lol.

im not in europe reamber that got blewn up  over 30k years agao when the sciencetist made the Steller coverter, im on a spaceship! a real big one! with trillions of people! that watch me! they let a 16 year old drive trillions of dollers! but they wont let me drink!?!?... i tried the "im your commander thing"... and got sent to my room... i didnt even know they can do that with the commander!
