There are a couple of updates to some rooms functionality: - Encounters in defended systems can not be accessed by others besides alliance members until defendig fleets are cleared - Counters now go trough alliance and solo truces - Updated View / Edit Fleet, Buy Fleet and Upgrade Fleet rooms, adding more functionality while decreasing load on the server - Category of designs can be changed whitout having to go back to first upgrade screen when upgrading a fleet with new systems God Speed Commanders! :19: Title: Re: updates and functionality Post by: Ricu on May 21, 2006, 12:42:15 PM nice update .

Just an odd thought, but shouldn't truces still be recognized, at the very least on the alliance level. I mean I had Ronald come through one of my systems and clean out my ships there, although for his rank it took quite a few attacks maybe he was using only one fleet. Yet his alliance and mine have a truce between them. All in all, it is a good system. This had happened while I was around rank 150 with ronald at rank 1. It took 5 attacks to clean the system of my ships. As I had said then, it is possible that he was only using one fleet, but I don't think it to be likely, as I don't know many people who attack with only one fleet. So, another theory is that ships guarding a star recieve a bonus to hitpoints and defense. But I've noticed that ships around a star tend to stand up to attacks better then normal. And he only has 3 fleets of real ships, the rest decoys and powerships, and if you had more then 10 fleets there, it would easily take 5 attacks. I can see that.

Only 3 fleets of real ships would have an effect too, thanks for pointing out another reason that it may have taken that many attacks dispite the power difference.

I can do galaxy encounters taht are rated at 200% my fleets power and not loose a ship, but loose ships on stinking 1% missions. I am quite upset
