Title: New Feature!
Post by: SnipeDragon on June 23, 2008, 11:12:14 AM
I have just installed an Age Filter package onto the forums, the Rant and Feud boards now require you to be 18 years of age, or older to view, I may lower the age however, post your opinions here (be nice about it)

Heheh. I can't seem to figure out how to change my account settings. My birthday is locked at 00-00-0000 and my gender is locked as female :21::sweat This is kinda weird . . .

Any help? Me wants to be able to look at the rants again!!! B-)

Doesn't defeat the whole purpose of having a age filter if you can change your birthdate?
I think 17 should be the age, by this age you are usually as mature as you will be  at 18
16 is still a little ways from 18

It's not like we don't know what the rant means if there are only 2 letters
Or in plain english: Are you trying to insult our inteligence?

I don't know why people can't edit their birthdays....I can't even do it and I am an Administrator :\  I am going to be looking into this, I will most likely remove the age limit, or be a jerk and set it to 1 day, then you still won't be able to use it :p (just kidding)

if you were mature you wouldn be ranting and feuding. maybe you should limit the age to under 18. I CANT EVEN SEE MY OWN POSTS I MADE.

I CANT EVEN SEE MY OWN POSTS I MADE.

If you made them, you should already know what's in them. No need to check. ^_^

In all seriousness, people cannot really complain about the age limit imposed. SnipeDragon said from the very beginning that the boards would probably end up being restricted to said age group. That he did it should not surprise people. Naybe the age limit is good. Maybe it isn't. Oh well.

I'm sure the birthday problem will get fixed soon. In the mean time, most everybody's aware of the problem. The only people who would take serious stabs at the affected over there now are not worth the worry. Petty insults come from petty people.

What fun is that going to be, the girls (who are all underage) like Losted won't be able to get on and then it will be just a bunch of fags playing with themselves.

Also, I'm locked out and my age is NA and I'm definitely a dirty old man.

So, WTF do I do to change the age to get access again?
