Title: Re: not hiting as much as i shoud. Post by: Warboss Armourfitz on June 15, 2008, 05:15:16 PM Accuracy is not determining whether a fleet will or not hit. It determines damage done from total attack of fleet. e.g. ship attack-1000000 acc-50% so damage -500000.

You might think of the accuracy as the amount of projectiles which hit the ship. Let's imagine that 1 attack=1 projectile, then for 96% accuracy we have 96 out of 100 projectiles (attack) hit the ship. Now, conversely, if we use 1 huge projectile than yes 5 times out of 8 is bad for a written 96% accuracy. You probably got confused because the defenders ship did not go down. A ship will go down after all of its hitpoints are matched by the attack which is affected by accuracy and absorb. |
