Title: System fleets around planet Post by: SirEmi on April 16, 2008, 04:57:23 PM - Is is now possible to help someone defend a planet by dropping fleets in orbit, if they are in the same alliance.
- If a system has no fleets in orbit, an enemy can also deploy fleets to blockade a planet and prevent it from building a station if it doesn't have one already. As you know, if the station is destroyed the planet becomes conquerable. Also, planet fleet support bonuses only work if there is a station in orbit to serve as command center and relay combat data between planet and fleets in orbit. So if a planet is under siege and has it's station destroyed, it would be normal for an attacker to blockade the system to prevent the construction of the orbital station.
