Title: Energy Collector Module

Looks like this module does not work properly. Installed on one of my bases and it decreased the effectiveness of my Replication.

Instead of decreasing the amount of material needed for Replication, it increased it.

It should be correct...

It improves base production points and has nothing to do with replication.

eg. base production is 300 with mining and replication at 80% 20%
      = 240minerals mined and 60minerals used for replication (I am not going to include replication input yet)

+1 energy module increases base production to 315 and maintaining 80% mining 20% replication,
      = 252 mined and 63 used for replication.

as u can see, replication minerals used has already increased. Even with replication input bonuses, increasing the base production will
always lead to an increase to replication minerals. It is not a decrease in replication efficiency but very much the opposite, the amount of minerals used for replication has increased due to the increase in base production.

Replication input / output bonuses maintain as always. thus with lvl10 replication input bonus (-50%minerals used)
for the above example,
at 60 minerals u see an actual use of 30minerals and at 63 minerals, u will still see an increase of minerals used at 31.5 (not sure if its round up or down)

Chrys is correct - they increase everything which ups your total output - it doesnt increase the efficiency of replication though.

Interesting you only just noticed Tz - been slacking on the mining tech I think.

Actually, didn't think that particular module would work properly. The English doesn't gel with the math.

ive actually noticed something similar

look at this

Production is 283 Diamond ore units into 6039 Carbon every 60 minutes.

but what i actually make is more like 5601 carbon every 60 mins

Production is 234 Diamond ore units into 11703 Carbon every 60 minutes
Production is 459 ore units of each resource below every 60 minutes.

get good advanced mining that will sort the propblem out and input/output

they mine well over 300 of each ore...
i calculated it

im getting 5789 carbon when it says 6039
