NO LONGER CASH COWS, PLEASE DISREGARD. use exploration update, if you want to succeed at all at SO - get probes - you may have to do some encrypts to start off, or you can try to get some from one of your alliance mates as one or more of them will surely have a hundred . that way you won't waste any turns. step 1 - use a multispec probe on your quadrant,( if it show nothing go to step 4) step 2 - use pinpoints to locate hidden aliens step 3 - collect your mass credits and items step 4 - jump to nearest star in next quadrant and repeat it is CRUCIAL that you focus on exploration ONLY!! DO NOT WASTE ANY TURNS ON: mining, mothership missions, encryptions, galaxy encounters, research(except exploration.) space stations, building facility, etc...... this is the only way you have any chance of keeping your rank much less gaining power. put all resources into exploration. believe me im speaking from first hand. don't make the mistake i did. you may still have a shot.
