since this is a lil off that topic i respond here;
it's been awhile, but i think most of you remember i am opposed to alts and believe they should be banned(as they are in every other game i have ever played ). i HATE alts. i have taken care of other peoples accounts while they were away, but i do not use them to make attacks for me, although i have if appropriate defended themselves as the regular player would, so i don't consider any of those to be alts. i am truly afraid however that the genie is so far out of the bottle it would be at this point impossible to go back. but if it can be it should.

I think there should only be one account on each server per IP.
Unless there is special premission. (e.g in the case of other family members playing.)
BUT there would have to be some way to prove it. :/

alts are good and bad sometimes so i think they should stay for now...

sometimes alts are needed. in the wars server for instance, a player leaves his alliance to join another but still wants to stay in contact or lead the old alliance...

i must say alts must be banned they are ruining the game by using the 2nd acct to give them a new etc.

i have an alt but he doesn't do anything to impact the game

well one of my alliance members got hit by an alt today. one of the kind that kamis then reserves. that is just plain pathetic.

that is bad who hit your alt

Tzarkoth isnt FTP, FTP hates me too much to ever allow me into his alliance :P, even under a alt, sorry to see the flaw in your plan

this brings up a good ?, would a mod lie about his alt/ main account, tzargoth puts alot into this game, i think i believe it

I mainly play a game some of you would have heard of (a lot play it) AE, there are no alts, and to have a shared IP you have to upgrade both accounts. Alts dont need to be banned, just paid for. Because to have the privelage of an alt, and to avoid the hassles mods on chat have with alts, there should be IP checks done and only those with legit or paid gold accounts should be on here.


Suggestions...

1. Gold account allows you to have 1 alt
2. Shared IP to message game admin explaining situation, or get gold..  or both

maybe but to get the gold on both you have to have 2 accounts and to have 2 accounts you have to have gold ?

Yes, so alts are not just throw away accounts and it will take more time for Sir Emi with IP checks. And logging who has more then 1 account on one IP. This costs time so donate a gold for that seems reasonable.

What I was saying is to have 2 gold you have to already have 2 gold need some way to get second gold offline as it were.
