After finally getting the Battlegroup option we now have an added click or 2 added with the implementation of the turn Multiplier. I'll admit, I never looked at what items the Missions had prior to the Mission Multiplier coming into play, now I always do.

In looking at the item names, I see they are random, and completely useless as an indication of what the item actually is, and oft times just nonsense. What I suggest, to save on the clicking, is add the Bonus to the mission page when you mouse over the Item Name, or added text besides the item name, or just replace the item name with the Bonus Stats. :-)

Any of those suggestions would be fairly simple compared to what I think should really happen.

Remake the Item Database, make all the items recognisable at a glance, as to what sort of bonus they will give.

Anyhow, clicking on item names accesses the database, for those of us who don't live in USA, its pretty annoying .. You have to wait for it to load .. If its 1200 items per day, 3 secs per item lookup, thats an hour a day wasted looking at random nonsense ... However its essential to do that now that the Multiplier is in play.

Heh - I was going to post something similar - :P But I didnt want to complain about anything so soon after the (excellent) mission multiplyer was implemented.

However, "Mouse-over" item stats would rock.

yeah that's a good idea, we'll make it mouse over and show the bonus, just like the research tree...

Could this be used in Edit/View ships as well? It could display the simple stats of a ship so i dont have to click all the time  :yawn:
