Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: MALICE on November 18, 2007, 09:59:43 PM How is that a multiple attack?, you got countered twice and a regular attack was made, i don't see how its abuse of the TOS
Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: FTP on November 19, 2007, 05:28:26 AM Master of Fire, could be the same person as Dragon of Fire
Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: waylain16 on November 19, 2007, 05:30:17 AM Yea but could and are, are two different things :21:
Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: FTP on November 19, 2007, 05:31:55 AM Its a suspision, so now it could be checked :12:
Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: Seither on November 28, 2007, 08:55:52 PM it could be, especially with the numbers so close, however, even if it is, no ToS are being broken, they are being played as seperate accounts, as niether is using the other to gain off you, you jsut got hit by both, and since you aren't at war with them, these are clean, legal hits. Thanks for reporting though.
Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: FTP on November 29, 2007, 04:10:56 AM You may not hit 1 person with more then one account, on special occasions like counters this rule will make an exception.
Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: Seither on November 29, 2007, 06:50:18 PM You may not hit 1 person with more then one account, on special occasions like counters this rule will make an exception. the ToS read: (I) The maximum amounts of accounts per person You may have multiple accounts only on those circumstances: You do _not_ use your accounts to help one single account. You may _not_ finance a lower power account with a higher power one in orther to do damage to lower people using the higher account resources (II) It is forbidden to take other players names, e.g. "The One -> The One1", and pretend you are them, as this may damage their reputation in the game. you may attack someone with more than one account, AS LONG AS you are not doing so to finiance another account, or to help one account out. From these attacks, it's obvious no ToS were broken, as the accounts were played seperately, and there was a hit from an account that is not from the same guy. Now, if Grim Reaper turns out to be an alt of dragon of fire, then ToS has been broken, as the 1st 2 attacks were used to weaken him for DoF to profit from, otherwise, they are legal hits. Title: Re: multiple attack Post by: FTP on November 29, 2007, 07:00:34 PM You do _not_ use your accounts to help one single account.
As you copied. Every attack from 1 account form a player followed by another attack from a different account from the same player is a break of ToS, as only scouting the enemy fleets is already helping your other account, By making the hit easier. Killing some ships with the first account to help with a nicer hit with your second account is once again helping your other account. If with your first account you didnt manage to wipe out a player so you try again with another account you help your first account by finishing his work and weakening the counter. And you give eachother information about the ships. All accounts of one player are counted as alts from that player once cdr lvl 100 is reached an alt becomes a seperate account. In which ofcourse it is still not allowed to send yourself money. ToS is not always clear, but this is the information Sir Emi has provided me with. I see....Emi should update the ToS then, too vague. But this needs to be sent to emi then. I'll leave that to you FTP, as you're the senior mod. Topic locked. |
