Title: Several idea's

Hi all my first post on the SO forum's so here's my ideas:
1. Battle segment's use your mothership as its own defence here is my reason for this, your mothership carries the last few humans in the known universe, and it has NO defence of its own you could have for each segment you build it adds attack, defence, HP etc etc or once you build the segments there’s another menu were you build weapons and things on it, like a normal ship.
2. Clusters, a larger form of segments but more efficient, so it takes about 8 seg's to make a biofarm cluster but it makes 100 credits a turn, the downside to this is that clusters are easier to capture due to there large size (harder to defend).
3. Attack and defence efficiency, smaller ships would be better at attacking but would be harder to defend with (smaller ships, less area covered and faster travel), whereas larger ships cover more area so they can defend more but defender's find it easier to hit.
4. Different types of weapons, you could have different types of weapons with deferent defences to it i.e. a spread weapon would be better against large fleet's but would be ineffective to a single ship.
Well that’s all I’ve got for now so what do you think?

Missions would get way to hard at lower power as spawns of mission fleets would vary and you would have to face all different weapons while your ships are not large enough to have a defence against all.

I thought of it before but would ask for to many changes.

Ok, thats fine as i didn't expect that one to be added (i also thought it would be very hard but it's worth asking), but what about the other three?

1. Has been suggested a few times already, think Sir Emi is busy with it, or atleast its on the planning. Although it would make a very uncertain factor as then someone without ships can still annhilate your fleet.
2. As it is possible to keep yourself from being attacked, it will only give a large bonus to those who cant or wont be attacked as they can get the clusters without worrying about them. Especialy the difference between a peacefull top 15 and a battling 20-500 will cause a huge difference in use of segments.
3. This is already the case enormous fleets of small ships will get a swarm bonus which will raise their attack far above those of big ships. And as big ships have the capability to get high % shields and an enormous HP they are defensive tanks.

Make the mothership unable to attack then problem solved. :)

Now if you attack someone without ships you will just farm that person, then that person could have a huge gun annhilating your fleets  0o, with the worst part not being able to kill the gun because you will have to weaken it taking segments by segment

make each gun have HP and things like a normal ship, if that gun's HP gets totaled gun destroyed have to build new one.

Edit:Another idea, Alliance's (or everyone) can trade and give money.

another idea, members of the same alliance should be able to have an Alliance research that counts as all the members research and should be able to access alliance space stations, so instead of one person making upgrades the whole alliance does based on there research.

you will find most of this has already been suggested but shot down due to the poliferation of alts and thier abuse by some of the not so honest players

almost all of my alliance is made up of reffered people, and i dont have the $ to pay for online games (i know its only $20 but as a teenager money is tight)

sure money is tight but that 20 bucks lasts you a whole year it beats 15 bucks a month for pay games anyday and that donation is what keeps this game going I'm not sure how many years emi has been working on this game but I know it's been at least 5 so it's really an extreamly small price to pay for him useing all his free time to keep updateing the game for us

By the way FTP the attack and defence efficiency is only used in attack/defence battles not all round.
I.E. a small fleet would gain an attack bonus but would also gain a negative defence bonus (so an increase to stats why’ll attacking and a decrease while defending).
Im now bad according to my ranking. :4:
