Just thought Sir Emi might be interested in zero unit fleets (hope this is just a fluke):

I got the same error. When I hit that particular fleet it said I did 0 damage and destroyed 0 ships.

This is probably due to the testing/optimizations that Sir Emi is doing to resolve fleet resizing and killer fleets.

This issue hasn't caused any ship loss, but definitely has the possiblity of resulting in an encounter failure.


*My main concern is that somebody may find a way to exploit this issue.

I killed 100% of the enemy fleet so atleast its not counting as fleet power.

And as its the last fleet it shouldnt cause to much trouble.

and for me its only single swarm flleet spawning on 95% of the missions :(

please fix this asap

EDIT: i wont mind if u dont fix 1 fleet spawn :D

I am also noticing a disproprtional amount of single fleet missions now.  I swear they are now putting a massive effort to kill off my lead ship.  I they dont have to worry about long term cost and can afford to just throw away massive numbers of swarm ships just to win.  but this is getting a bit over the top. have been hearing about many folks loosing a lead to a 60% encrypt and less. or a mission that is less that 60% thier total power because the AI is putting all its cookies in one fleet of swarm ships.  might want to check that and see what is going on.

While fixing the 0 fleets that have been apearing in the battle reports, there was an unusual number of one fleet enemies appearing. I have identified the problem and fixed it now. I am very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The bug lasted for about 5 hours from 2007-10-08 hour 13:30 to 18:10 Space Odyssey time.

Please message e(#1) in the game if you lost any lead ships during that time, and I will check the logs. The ships lost due to the bug will be set back.
