Title: Comas vs. Decimal Points Post by: Silence444 on July 23, 2007, 06:09:42 PM Not that its really a glitch but it is confusing (especially for noobs) when a player sees decimal points used on one screen and comas on the next. for the longest time when i saw the cost read out of "1.000" i though that it meant it cost 1 cred. Just saying... seems like it would be an easy fix that would save a lot of noobs (and myself) a lot of stress.

Title: Re: Comas vs. Decimal Points Post by: Seither on July 23, 2007, 06:56:42 PM there are a few pages, only a few, where commas still exist. But it's not too huge a deal, though it would be beter to be 100% consistant.
Title: Re: Comas vs. Decimal Points Post by: Cameron07 on July 24, 2007, 12:30:34 AM well i dont know if this is really a bug or not.. maybe more of a suggestion..
and why dont they just have the number as this 1 500 000 instead of 1.500.000 haha it makes it much easier when copy/pasting Title: Re: Comas vs. Decimal Points Post by: Satan on July 24, 2007, 12:58:04 AM lol yea that would be perfect
Title: Re: Comas vs. Decimal Points Post by: Seither on July 24, 2007, 03:57:32 AM because A) it looks wierd, B) spaces can cause problems in some calculating systems (a lot of times a space equals a 0, making 1 500 000 read as 105.000.000 to the calculator), and C) looks more professional.
Title: Re: Comas vs. Decimal Points Post by: Cameron07 on July 24, 2007, 04:16:16 AM well in my calculator 1.500.000 reads as 1.5 so when designing its just a minor annoyance to have to change that over everytime.. im just lazy though
