Title: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: itskool on June 17, 2007, 07:15:38 PM K this is on SO WAR, anyway thx to Razor006 i got a new base...
its a good base with 140k Dimond and Metal but then next day i saw some gold then som carbon ^_^ 0 On the is this a new? or glitch? cuz re-generating fields is cool despite the things that are in the RW (Real World) Title: Re: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: SirEmi on June 17, 2007, 08:22:00 PM They don't regenerate... they could, but I don't want it just yet, however there is a way to make some resources appear, if you blow up a mining facility, 75% of the resources in there just spill into open space, and you get 25% to the mothership holds, and all the credits.
Title: Re: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: FTP on June 18, 2007, 08:40:33 AM I would like if some resources woudl regenerate, as you dont even wanna know what happened when I wiped out some stations...
Title: Re: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: Satan on June 19, 2007, 12:28:39 AM I think it would be nice if resources regenerated every two weeks or something, especailly since this server runs forever. Plus it would give new players a shot at mining their own stuff too rather than having to bum it out of an allies system.
Title: Re: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: Silence444 on July 27, 2007, 03:15:19 PM i fully agree with satan. perhaps its not realistic to have resources spontaneuosly appear, but, i think that t would cool if when planets/gravety are implemented that some moving bodies could say get caught in a gravitational field and those become a new source of orbital resources (maybe not asteroid fields but dwarf planets, derelict mother ships or comets or something).
Title: Re: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: TeraNezumi on August 06, 2007, 08:24:58 PM Consider how much more conflict there will be once resources begin to run out :D
Title: Re: Asteriod Field ReGenerate Post by: Seither on August 06, 2007, 09:12:16 PM that's pretty much the point of non-regen resources, conflict. Wars will break out, bases will be annilated, and supplies will return for a short period of time, and then the cycle will begin again. Hence the name SO Wars, rather than SO II.
