Yes, but a very good expansion none the less. They rebalanced the game and made everything a lot more fun.

Hmm... It seems StarCraft2.com (http://www.starcraft2.com/) is up and has the same countdown timer as Blizzard.com (http://www.blizzard.com/). What could this mean...

That post was made before SC2 was announced. And www.starcraft2.com had always redirected to www.blizzard.com, so the observation was completely useless.

I would like to take this moment to remind people that this video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3980165796053569246) is not StarCraft 2. It was a mod for C&C: Generals that was shut down by Blizzard because of how they aired it under the name StarCraft 2.

I get insider info....im a writer for Starcraft.org (host the Only official SC Map Database), and I knew of SC2 2 weeks before anyone else....if you want me to keep you informed, PM me on here, and ill send you news as I get it (usually before anyone else in the world).

What kind of sources do you have? I've gotten that kind of, so called, "information" before.

im just happy its comming out starcrafts is one of the best games i ever played.. i sure hope they dont over-do the relisticness or graphics on it.. cause then it may make a simple but fun game to confuseing.. :)

keep the graphics the same.. just new units races, missions.. fun!

It's in 3D and has the same races, a few new units, and (probably) three new campaigns.

i liked 2d lol, 3d will make it seem to complicated..

I like the emphasis on terrain levels, especially the new units which can go over the cliff like terrain. (the Terran raiders and the Protoss stilt-walkers)

They postponed starcraft ghost because it was a really bad game -- a starcraft FPS, and it was bound to fail miserably.

Congradulations, snipedragon, you've gone and made a fool of yourself. Just a tip - the world doesn't revolve around you, we don't care that you have "insider information" (probably gotten from some gaming magazine   :14: ), all we care is that SC 2 has been announced and some insane trailers and previews have been released. /rant

read up on it in the internet some and it seems like a cool game.. anyone know about how much it is to buy

You have no idea why they postponed it and you have no idea whether it would've/will fail or not. They're Blizzard, for goodness' sake, they would never have announced it if they hadn't have had perfect faith in it. Think about how long it took them to announce StarCraft 2!

Regardless and with all do respect, get over yourself and wait and see what happens.
