Title: Sorting youre ships Post by: FTP on January 11, 2007, 01:41:56 PM Now the new rounds starts again I will have to search through all my designs again to look to which I want to use, and I cant find it I design a new ship, so I get more and more designs and the searching takes longer and longer as my memorie is not good enough to remember all ships name I used in the start of the round. Why dont we add something were you can choose how you want to sort youre ships on:
On name (like in resupply) On date (like in view edit) On THERE COST (I would realy love this to be added) Or maybe that you can put ships in groups like: Start mission ships and defencive swarmers. As they are about the same cost but not the same use. It helps emensly when starting a new round as i have them catagorised from start of a round to the end of one. I must give up being so organised its a terrible habit :19:

Another thing I wouldnt mind seeing is a mass delete for designs in stead of having to go : edit/view - click on design - click on Sell Ship(s) + Upgrades and finally sell ship + upgrades. Doing that for each design is a bit tedious. Maybe there could be a check box next to each design to delete the designs that way. Most of the designs I currently have are from boarding ppl this round and capturing designs, no offense to anyone but the majority of the designs suck big time and it takes up a lot of time to delete them all now. This is just my opinion, if you dont like it - fine BE THAT WAY "Whats the number for 911?" Title: Re: Sorting youre ships Post by: Remfer on January 12, 2007, 09:04:18 AM i know...but i would also agree that we need a mass delete function...i was throwing away every thing i've ever bought, or designed to start fresh for the new round...and it took forever to delete the ships so i could delete the designs...
and also it would be better if it could have like a filter or something for organizing ships instead of just by price or # of ships :( EDIT: Here is everything u can sort by: Fleet Name Crew Level Numbers Marines Resupply Cost / Ship |
