Title: We need a new Admin Post by: Remfer on December 20, 2006, 07:59:02 AM I'm sorry to say this, but we seriously need a new admin. Admin has been inactive too long, and leaving everything up to Sir Emi on the forum is wrong, it takes away a lot of time he could be using to improve the game. While it is not official that we will or will not be getting a new admin, post here if you agree/disagree that we need one and why, as well as anyone (I say we stick to those people Sir Emi made a moderator, since we know he at least trusts them a little bit, just a suggestion though) you think has what we need in an admin. Anyone in SO can nominate someone for the position. To be eligible, any nominees need at least one second.
Nominees: Monkey D. Luffy (Seither) I nominate u monkey, ur completely trustworthy (i think laugh ) I second that motion, monkey has the maturity to take on a job like this, I hope sir emi grants your request and makes you that person 1 clapping yeah...definitly (did i spell that right or wrong? i think i spelt definitly wrong i think it should be definetly...maybe that's wrong too...o well laugh ) Monkey/Seither or whatever you want to call him, completely has the characteristics of an Admin. Especially if you look on the "Report abuse -> SnipeDragon" you can see his excellent compromise/end debate skills. 1 Very well put remfer he definitely has all the characteristics to make a great admin for this game 1 Dont want to cause offence it was just a joke with the spelling 1 heh, ya seither, you'd be great as admin... you definitely have enough time for it 14 anyway... if anyone else... I would nominate... hmm... I dunno who actually I would nominate... I'll leave mine up as undecided until I notice someone noteworthy (probably a seconding by my luck) oh, I nominate Smee, because I know everyone loves his craziness 16 heh, just kidding, I suppose he isn't a moderator even... so I guess not... heh, ya seither, you'd be great as admin... you definitely have enough time for it 14 anyway... if anyone else... Well, my intentions aren't meant to insult you emi, but you seem busy enough as it is. I mean, I bet you get 50+ messages a day ranging from suggestions to ship losses. We need you to take care of the updates, and other cool stuff that you can add to the game. The way I see it, admins should patrol the forum and look for things that are out of place, and also send you the topic-link if someone asks you a direct question. This would break things down for you and make it easier to handle things instead of scanning through 500+ topics to see if someone has a question for you... :))...Just a thought sir emi.
Also, I hope nobody nominates me...
