Well, this has to be the craziest mission I've ever seen. The stats on the ship are low, but it was pretty shocking to see the cost of the ship when I searched for it.

LOL, now we know why it was only one ship in that fleet  :))

Maybe it's a diamond ship that you should only keep in the hanger not to break as the systems on it are so expensive they can never be replaced :)

Now that's something you don't see everyday...imagine if you had managed to CAPTURE that thing! You'd become instantly rich, the hull alone must cost a fortune!

Well, it is my understanding that the systems are removed when captured (unless he changed it). The hull only costed around 33mill.  :))

In mission yoy can capture only hull, and thats pointless, because its full of bloody marines :rip:

lol, I've never tried to capture a ship in missions, so wouldn't know, thanks for the info on that though, lol.

On all systems you have a small change of capturing them, but you'll first need to capture the powercore before other systems, so the change you capture anything is realy small, but I did. But atm, alot of ships have 80% ABS even in missions, so boarding is abit expensive atm, as half of the ships blow anyways.

lol, of course, nothing can ever ne easy, it'd take all the fun out of it. Still....even 1 or two systems on that ship would have been a major help to anyone....I wonder if we'll ever see that ship again, or any like it?

Ive boarded missions but the few times I managed to capture hulls didnt make it worthwhile when I add up the cost of resupplying marines

ya, rarely would be, but still, as I said, if you got that ship, with 1-2 of it's upgrades, or if you are extremely lucky, all of them, you'd get an instant powerjump.

I have 3600 turns, ships full of marines, 18 hours left, and not bad amount creds, maybe its time to board some missions :12:
I forgot that my ships will crush everything on galaxy missions :sweat

I found solution for too weak ships. I board 200+% mothership missions, but no systems so far :))
