just for the record, based solely on what evidence was brought to me, I stand by jr. bush's decision.  if there is even a CHANCE of nukes or any other WMD being pointed at us, flags of alarm SHOULD be raised.  just look at the cuban missle crisis, they don't even HAVE to be fired to be a problem, just the EXISTENCE of them.  and if I am not mistaken, it was the media who ALSO wanted the war in the first place. (although I would not put media "controlloing" past any government to gain needed public support)  and even forgetting WMD's completely, did we or did we not have PROOF that sauddam hussien was hiding terrorists belonging to the same people who bombed New York?  why would anyone think that we could go off and 20 years down the road throw a nazi war criminal to the Jews to be prosecuted, then just turn blind eyes to them?  and bringing that up, it was also PROVEN was it not, that saddam hussien was in FACT killing off his own people testing weapons of various kinds.  I don't see much difference here from Hitler, and we DIDN'T go after Hitler until we HAD to, and we take flak from OURSELVES TO THIS DAY for that.

sometimes I feel so much emphasis is put ont he WMD's that we forget about the OTHER reasons.  also, I'm not sure about actual nukes produced by others, but I was also told a single nuke of today could have the destructive power of 100 (or 1k) times more then the bombs dropped that ended WW2.  that is scary in itself, even without everything else going on.

and have you forgot about the USS Stark hit by and Iraqie exocset missile June 6 1987.  Tis not to question why tis but to do or die
