Title: Truf Wars
Post by: Borg! on March 22, 2006, 10:45:14 PM
i think you should implament land in the game like commanders can but it and allow people to work on his land for a fee but by working on their land they can be defended/paid to do certain jobs for the land owner and there can also be turf wars from 2 land owners trying to get more land

Hmmm.... it seems good in principal, but I think it would serve to overcomplicate the game.

depends on how it was done. I'd say planets though, not land, less complicated.

Oh yeah, we know that, borg, we're just tossing in our two cents on the matter. :)

Yes, Charlemagne and I do that often, very little here doesn't have our two cents in it.

yea luffy, except it looks like you have thrown your 2 cents into so many places you have already used $12.64 or so.  it's adding up luffy.

:hi: :ban: :please: :banned:  :sorry: :lol_sign: :spam:

and I counter your gun force on another topic with the mighty power of the stick man!   :pokey:

ok, sorry, I guess that was a little off topic.  by the way, this may be a really good idea, you could transfer the secret base options into the planetside options.  then that would be a great starting point for base defenses and such.

btw sir emi, I have an idea as far as how to have things be built for it, as far as secret bases go for now at least.

we already have 2 options for secret base: store credits, and build ships.

1: leave store credits exactly the same

2: change build ships into where the planet/secret base will use stashed credits for planet/secret base workers and sutom built ships based off of current fleets with at least 1 ship in them.  this way it gives you a certain ability to control what your base makes depending on what you have out.  but this may also mean it starting to build decoys to...  hmm...  anyway.  just an idea.

also, another one, you could have the option of having current stocks of items manufactured into new, or useful items.

IE:

1 planetary vehicle= basic planetside scout vehicle that helps find precious ores.  +1 credit production

but if you have:

1000 food
1000 water
1 planetery vehicle

you can make:

1 public service vehicle= vehicle designed to help improve and sustain basic worker requirement.  +100k max workers

and so on.  that would be REALLY cool :)   then of course for each item you still need the cargo modules to house them.  lol.

The lightbulb looks constipated, lol. and Ars, try more like around $20 bucks at least, lol.

And I like your suggestions ars, especially the last one, sounds a lot like alchemey.

a new thing

trade cog
1000 carbon
500 silicon

and it allows you to trade market goods to other planets

Ok I know this is spam, but based on Luffy's current post cost, he has put in $13.24 worth of posts.  :5:

Compare that with the rest of the top ten posters:

Luffy: $13.24
Charlemagne: $4.02
BOS: $3.12
Nicholas D Wolfwood: $2.72
ars68: $2.68
Smee: $2.42
Gunfighter Frank: $2.12
Lammalord: $1.79
FTP: $1.46
mrtimbr549: $1.46

Scary eh?  :13:

It only means I have a lot of cents to put into stuff. I'm a regular entripenuer! (so mispelled, but whatever)

and that sounds cool borg. We need a clone of Sir Emi, who can stay on add read and reply to all these suggestions a lot, lol.
