I played the game from about mid-2006 to some time in 2007. I've been a member of the forum since 2006, and I will be until the zombie uprising of August 2017, when I descend into my underground bunker.
Oh dear, it appears that Bunker Time is imminent.

Correct. The Intellivision, when combined with its Intellivoice adaptor, could produce barely recognizable speech. Only three games were released that made use of Intellivoice, Space Spartans, Bomb Squad, and B-17 Bomber, before the whole endeavor was declared a flop. Turns out the memory the voice files had to be stored on were too darn expensive. By the time the NES rolled out, memory had gotten good enough that they no longer had to mangle words to the edge of incomprehensibility just to get them to fit, and we end up with much cleaner results.

Space Odyssey Caffe / Whatever / Protect the Internet (Again...)

Hello, Sorry if I'm about to sound like a political activist, but if you'll indulge me for a second, I just want to try to raise awareness about this whole SOPA and Protect IP shenanigans. These are two bills trying to make their way through the US Congress that, apparently, could hurt the internet pretty bad. A quick rundown of some of the things they could do: - Break how DNS servers work by allowing the government blacklist certain IP addresses, possibly without even a court order.
- Make streaming stuff with copywrited material in it a felony (like murder and arson), prosecutable by the government even if the infringed party doesn't care. This would make things like Let's Plays and lip dubs felonies.
- Make it a crime to even link to such videos.
- Kills Kittens
Anyways, pass the word on, write a letter or something, blah, blah, blah. As always, opposing opinions are welcome.

Let's see. Only about 26 days, 8 hours, and 13 minutes. I lurk a bit.
Only guy with more time would be 0cossin77, but he was using a refresh script at some point, if I remember correctly, so his numbers are artificially high.
Basically, the counter only goes up as long as you're clicking things. If you don't do anything for 10 minutes or so, it stops counting.

I think some forums would be a better place if people got rid of post counts altogether. If you make regular and helpful contributions to the forums, people will notice. No need to give people another e-peen to worry about.

I've come to the conclusion that my deja vus are the result of bad memory. Basically, I did something similar, so the situation seems familiar, but I forgot about it, so I can't pin the familiarity on anything particular, so deja vu.

Hum, well, if that's true, it just goes to show that you always gotta be ready for The Untwist. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't hate you. Then again, I didn't actually know you. So, erm... poor consolation, I guess.
